2 out of 5 eggsIdeal Setup, Questionable Quality

Pros: Decent processor/ram with EXCELLENT video card (look up ATI 5850). This is how budget gaming specs should look on prebuilts... gaming enthusiasts would normally have to get a new video card/power supply in any other budget system at Newegg - waste of money and time.

Cons: Video card was not recognized at all, although its fan was running. Had to use on board video to set up Windows 7 and try to detect video card. No luck. Upon inspection of video card, I saw that the PCI-E slot was damaged, almost mangled. Sent back to Newegg, waiting for a replacement.

Expansion is basically impossible due to cheap motherboard:
(1) RAM is 2 DIMMS only, which means that getting more RAM would require buying two new 4GB sticks to make 8GB. RAM is also limited to DDR2/800.
(2) Didn't check the number of SATA slots, but I'm uncertain about hard drive expansion based on MSI motherboards with similar specs.

I'd easily pay an extra $30 for better expandability.

Case is ugly, but you can already see that.

Other Thoughts: I was nervous getting a CyberpowerPC since I looked them up a little online and found some bad reviews from many sources. I hoped I wouldn't be an unlucky one. Wrong...

The people who put this thing together need to be more careful with expensive video cards. Could be a quality issue with the motherboard, but I doubt it. Maybe I'll bump my rating up if the next one isn't a lemon.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: A great buy for under $900.
Awesome ATI Radeon 5850
Direct X 11 support
AMD CPU is quick
Internals stay cool full time

Cons: 500gb HDD
1 side case fan
Had a few crashes
Front audio ports don't work

Other Thoughts: Being an Intel fan myself, I was hesitant to go with the new Core i7's, but due to budget limitations, I chose this computer. The graphics card screams through all of my games, and stays cool. The AMD CPU works great for encoding video, and everything is lightweight which is a bonus for me as I transport this computer twice a week. It would've been nice to have a 1tb HDD for the extra storage, but it's not a big deal. 2 side fans would have been nice, extra cooling is always a plus. The computer has crashed 4 times on me, although I can't pinpoint any of the reasons. The front audio ports don't work, which isn't too big of a deal, but a bit of a dissappointment. Upon arrival, I opened the case to see if anything had become dislodged, the only thing I found was the power cable going into the DVD drive. Other than that, shipping was fast and the buying process worked out great. Great job Newegg.

Easliy added another HDD and was ready to go

3 out of 5 eggsCan they ever send a computer without it breaking?

Pros: Great little machine. Fast. Win 7. 4 GB. nice harddrive

Cons: The video card was damaged in transit and a SATA cable needed to be replaced on the DVD-ROM. I hope PowerColor will replace it instead of having to send back the entire machine.....

Other Thoughts: Of the last 3 computers I've bought from newegg, all 3 have arrived with some damage.
