5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: Functions great
Plays all of my games at max
No loading of software needed
Came with all the manuals
No problems yet

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It is great computer that is drastically better than my old one. It is quieter and the light from the side is not as bright as once feared. It came early through UPS. I am thoroughly happy with my purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsNo longer satisfied

Pros: Great pc when it works.

Cons: It worked great for about 2 weeks, now it locks up constantly. It doesn't just freeze, it locks up, so I have to hold the power button to restart it. It's kind of hard to play games when your pc is constantly locking up. I emailed Newegg's tech support 3 or 4 days ago, and so far they have not responded. As of this moment I am extremely displeased with my investment.

Manufacturer Response:

"Dear Valued Customer
We do apologize for the inconvenience. If the system had been experiences the system the system can be address by our technicians. Either to help issue the system back for service or issue replacement parts if determined any to be defective. Please remember to help register the product to help speed up the process otherwise you can email you full contact information to Cyber_tech2@cyberpowerpc.com."

4 out of 5 eggsPC is fine---delivery however.......

Pros: great PC for the price, runs everything no lag

Cons: hot! can be loud!

Other Thoughts: i would have given it 5/5 if they didnt use Ups. they left the box on my front steps, in the snow while i was home yet didnt knock, in a giant white box that says "computer" on all 6 sides. feel free to get a free computer just say it wasnt delivered, noone had to sign for it....and to top it off i have a porch, why the steps in the snow? UPS is terrible.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome low-cost gaming computer

Pros: This is a fairly low cost computer coming in under a grand, and it will run all of your games and not miss a beat.

Cons: The front audio port seems to get some interference. Solved by plugging into the back. Not too unusual.

Other Thoughts: This is a great computer for the price. I bought this primarily for Starcraft 2 and I'm able to max out every single setting and haven't actually lagged doing anything at all. Exactly what I was looking for, and better.

4 out of 5 eggsGood System For The Money

Pros: Bang for the buck, you get a system capable of running all new games and anything coming in the near future. Great speed processor, plenty of memory, decent hard drive, and solid video card. I was initially going to order a custom system directly from CyberpowerPC, but stumbled across this system that gave me everything I wanted for less than building one directly at CyberpowerPC.

Cons: Within a week of receiving the system, I ordered a second HD 6850 card with the intent of running in crossfire. I remembered reading that when installing a 2nd video with this mobo, it disables the other PCI slots. Not a big deal to me, but may be to others. I get the second video card, open the system up, only to find that 4 of the 6 SATA3 plugs on the motherboard will be covered by the second video card. Not sure where to place the blame here: the motherboard for putting SATA slots directly in line with the 2nd PCI Express slot, or the video card for being so freakishly large. In the end I went out and bought mini SATA2 cables that when plugged in could go at a 90 degree angle allowing them to be still plugged in under the new video card. The down side, 4 of my 6 SATA3 slts are now limited to SATA2 because I couldn't find SATA3 cables that would do what I needed.

Other Thoughts: Great system out of the box, but if you plan on upgrading to a second video card, be prepared for what you will have to give up in other areas of the system to do so. So far the power supply seems to be holding up okay with the second video card, however will see a true test with some of the new games coming out this year.

2 out of 5 eggswell, it could be worse

Pros: Came fairly fast, runs great, plays my games like a champ at all maxed settings.

Cons: Freaking impossible to get support for it. Hold hold hang-up, hold hang-up. Busy, sorry no one here now call back later.

Other Thoughts: I so totally despise Windows7.
Spend more time trying to fix the pre-downloaded Windows 7 or getting anybody either at Cyberpower OR Microsoft to help me authenticate Windows7. Very disappointing in Cyberpower customer service.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy AMD

Pros: Newegg service. It's a pre-made so it just about starts right up when you boot.

Cons: AMD video card crashes 2 minutes into game. Do a google search for "AMD 6850 black screen of death" and make sure you are willing to risk RMA'ing your most-likely-broken AMD video card.

Other Thoughts: This is my first AMD card after having used Nvidia cards forever. I had built my own machines before but figured I would spend a little extra money to have someone do it for me. This way, I would not have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that.

Unfortunately, the video card that came packaged with this computer is broken. The same can be said for many of the HD 6800 cards.

It is worth repeating: research the Black SOD before committing to this product. There are youtube videos of the error as well. Do not simply assume a 4.5 outa 5 star rating from PCMag means your card will not stink. It is AMD. It will probably be broken.

Not worth the head-ache.

Manufacturer Response:
