1 out of 5 eggsfollow up

Pros: 2600k, gtx 570, blue ray. massive case.

Cons: Poor testing and PSU are defective from factory.

Other Thoughts: i would advise not to buy from cyberpower. THe PSU units on these models are BAD. mine died right after boot up. On/off/on/off. confirmed with other owners. Cyberpower has no customer support either. Be warned. PSU is extreme gear PSU 950W. My 1700.00 is wasted.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We understand you able to use the system but it currently started to have issue regarding random shutdowns. The issue may be related to a power issue but allow our technicians to look in to matter in detail.

Please email to Cyber_tech2@cyberpowerpc.com with your contact information so we can rectify this issue as soon as possible.

5 out of 5 eggsquiet beefy machine

Pros: High end parts: the 3.4GHz Sandy Bridge CPU and overclocked nVidia 570 will last you a long time

Extreme cooling: huge fans everywhere and a water cooling system for the CPU

Quiet: it's very very quiet. Because of the large fans and the watercooling inside, it's amazingly quiet compared to my last computer which used air cooling

Ready to go: I took it out of the box, plugged it in, and that was about it

Tooless slide-in hard drive: It's not hot-swappable because you're not supposed to swap drives when the computer is on, but I love being able to change hard drives without messing with any screws

Cons: Memory: the motherboard only has 4 memory slots and they're all full, so if you want to upgrade to more than 8 gigs, you'll have to upgrade all of them. 8 gigs is fine, but computers this high end usually come with more.

Lack of documentation: didn't come with much documentation though you can always search their forums online. Took me a while to realize the serial code for Windows 7 was on a sticker on side of box. Also realized later I had to connect the SATA connector on the top slide-in drive.

Other Thoughts: I was planning on upgrading some time this year, but my motherboard on my old computer died and I needed to get something ASAP. Browsed a couple of sites and saw this little beauty. Bleeding edge parts and a price comparable to other computers sporting older CPUs and video cards. I actually went to the CyberpowerPC site and configured the same computer and it came out to be more expensive than the Newegg price.

Some additional details since the description on the site is not that in-depth. The CPU is stock, but the 570 video card is the overclocked EVGA model. My computer also came with a single 2TB drive instead of 2 1TB drives which I prefer anyway.

Anyway, great computer, good price. I'm very happy with my purchase. I wanted to wait a week to review in case I came across any problems, but no issues so far!

3 out of 5 eggsjust ordered

Pros: Just ordered, hope to have in 2 days. seems like nice deal 2600k, 8 gigs ram and gtx 570. Although i would have paid an extra 200 or so for 12 gigs ram and gtx 580. I've always been taken care of by newegg.

Cons: all memory slots are taken.

Other Thoughts: I'll let you guys know how it is. My present 950 system is dying a slow death.
