3 out of 5 eggsWas great while it lasted

Pros: Fast, no bloatware, never had any issues for 1st 18 months.

Cons: Like other reviews stated the power supply blew up. Sparks shot out the back. Unfortunately, out of 1 year warranty and it probably took other components with it.

Other Thoughts: Was great while it lasted. Should have replaced power supply earlier like other reviews suggested.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsMeh.

Pros: Fast and runs games on ultra settings no problems. Well ventilated and came with no garbage installed on it.

Cons: After about a year, I've been have blue screen of death and issues with the sound causing problems shutting the PC down and when I force shut down it turns back on with no sound. Seems the integrated sound is bad since I've tried updating drivers and even did a fresh re install of windows.

Other Thoughts: Wish some of the equipment was better quality (never did use that mouse or keyboard it came with).

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggs3 Months

Pros: - Ran several games on Max Settings (From WoW to SWTOR)
- Price was decent for what was offered
- Very very quiet

Cons: - FPS would drop randomly for no reason
- While the computer is nice for the price, what's inside is fairly cheap and LQ
- It died in 3 months

Other Thoughts: When reviewing this PC I read several things others had posted. One of the first things advised if getting this computer is to swap the PSU. If you decide to get this computer PLEASE do yourself that favor. After having the computer just turn off in the middle of running SWTOR I followed the process to get some Tech Support. I did the power supply trick (with the paper clip) so I thought my problem was an easy one. I was foolish.

I went to my local store and picked up a new PSU and tested it out. I set everything up and the computer would flash briefly and shut off. I again tested the PSU with the paper clip trick and this one fired right up. Sadness that only did my original PSU die but so did my MOBO. There was absolutely no signs of parts failing prior to the computer just dieing. No burning or melting smells, no BSOD, no shutdowns--absolutely nothing.

Also, after testing the new PSU on my computer I did have the PSU pop and give off that wonderful burning/melting aroma.

Cons: First computer broke a few weeks after i got it and the newest one broke two days after i got it back

Other Thoughts: I dont want to send this one back it takes too long and is too much money for good shipping

3 out of 5 eggsBlew up after 6 great months

Pros: Fast as heck, smooth, no bloat, quiet, LED looks great at night. Runs whatever you throw at it (until mine blew up from playing SWTOR). Its basically a beast.

Cons: Not being able to reach tech support is a real bummer. No other cons execpt for something which I suspect to be the motherboard blowing up during a gaming session. Other than that I really love this PC.

Other Thoughts: I've had this PC for 6 months and absolutely loved every day of it. I run Fallout NV and mod on it with no issues. I run EVE Online with no hangups. I design and use the master Adobe Suite with no issues at all. Then just yesterday while playing SWTOR, my PC just shut off and made this loud "pop" sound and I smelled something burning. There was a huge spark and I knew it was all downhill from there.

Apparently, as another customer has stated below me, the same thing has happend to him. The PC was purchased for games but blew up while specifially playing the one I bought the PC for. Other than that, I do believe it is a great PC.

1 out of 5 eggsnot sure anymore

Pros: It works, mostly.

Cons: Poor quality memory sticks.

Other Thoughts: Had to RMA the entire computer to Cyberpower a couple months after purchase due to many BSOD's. Rather than risking screwing up something while diagnosing, I opted to send the tower back for them to test. Three weeks later I got my computer back with new RAM installed. I have recently had the same issues with BSOD's. A conversation with Cyberpower tech support lead me to test the memory sticks myself. Testing them both one at a time, I have gotten at least one BSOD with the same error code, which according to Cyberpower denotes a RAM issue. I am currently shopping for new memory sticks on New Egg, that is why I am here, but I decided that it might be nice to update my experience with this computer since my original post when I first bought it. I hope there are no more issues. I really really do.

2 out of 5 eggsBad Purchase

Pros: Good computer while it lasted, ran things with great ease.

Cons: Had the computer for about 4 months. within the first month the drivers for the graphics card started to fail and had to fiddle with them. The problems stopped not long after that and didnt have a problem for another couple month but then it started again. Not long after that I was playing a game and my power went out on the computer and i heard a pop, and smelt burning. After buying a power supply, and a new graphics card trying to figure out what was wrong with it i took it to my local Geek Squad and they said that my motherboard shorted. Computer was nice while it lasted but had to go out and buy another motherboard also, luckly i was able to return the graphics card.

1 out of 5 eggsAll was great until....

Pros: Well I raved about this computer in my last post but now it's time for an update.... Read on...

Cons: Alright, so things were going good and I was in love with this beast until about 3 months in one of my 4gig ram sticks just stopped working. Causing me BOSD and when I contacted support they gave me the run around of checking all my cables and connections. Finally I just started to take things apart and seeing what could of been wrong. Finally after a good 3 hours or trial and error it was the ram stick. Now, a week before Christmas it just stopped working. I went to turn it on... it studdered and then nothing. I checked everything and had to RMA it back to NewEgg. It's been about a week since I got my email that said "We will contact you in 2-3 days to discuss the options we have for either a replacement or a refund." This really has nothing to do with Newegg but more to do with Cyberpower pc.

Other Thoughts: This left a bad taste in my mouth but I will try again. Make sure that you get the extended warranty!

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: Runs anything I can throw it, battlefield3 with mid-high settings runs with almost no skipping, comes ready to use, plenty of room for additions, runs cool with minimal noise and sweet blue light

Cons: No wireless so i had to install a PCIe wireless adapter

Other Thoughts: Go Falcons!

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad system for the price...

Pros: - Solid processor, can overclock well
- Great graphics card (for budgeted gamers; it's not a Ti, not that it matters; and it is an eVGA)
- Big hard drive
- No bloatware
- Open the box and you're set
- Plays every game out there on 'highest' settings

Cons: - Power supply . 800W? Well, it's a cheap power supply. See below.

Other Thoughts: Overall this system is great for what it is. It's cheap, and the parts work well enough to play any game you want. Normally, I build my own computers but saw this and figured I'd take the easy way out (being lazy rules).

However, a few things to note. I had been having issues with FPS dropping, randomly, for no reason. Dropping to the teens, regardless of the game. I spoke with CyberPower, and they had me RMA the graphics card. Now, I didn't think it was the graphics card, but I did it anyway. I used my old GeForce 9800 GTX in the system and noticed that certain PCI-E power cords from the PSU did not work. Therefore, I sent back a working GPU and wasted money. I am going to recontact CyberPower and see what should be done, as I'm not sure this PSU has two working PCI-E power connectors.

I wish CyberPower gave me more answers instead of "just send the GPU to x" -- we could've narrowed down the problem, saving me and them time and money. In their defense, they did try to help. :)
