2 out of 5 eggsSuch. A. HEADACHE.

Pros: Cool lights! Once actually got it going, games looked amazing. Ran most games on Ultra with around 40 FPS which is fine by me.

Cons: Once installing Windows 7 and was brought to the desktop screen, the pre-installed Internet Explorer would refuse to work and kept not responding. This was when I knew something was up. The first thing I did after restarting it and finding out that Internet Explorer magically worked, I tried to install AVG Virus Protection which actually installed fine. After doing that and running a quick scan, I decided to install Steam so I could get right into playing games (which was the entire purpose of throwing down a two week paycheck from myself.) Steam took an unnaturally long time to install. While it was completely lagging out and constantly saying that it wasn't responding, I tried looking up what could be the issue. Never actually found anything while waiting for Steam to install, and when it finally did, Steam was completely unable to start up. After yet another reboot, things seemed to be working okay Steam-wise, and that's when I installed Chrome. I have been using Google Chrome for years, so when I realized there was issues I was completely blown away. I still do not know why this issue has been happening, but I have been shown the "Aw, Snap!" and "He's dead, Jim" tabs more times then any other webpage I've tried to load. This is especially aggravating as I simply cannot figure out what the issue is. I have searched up absolutely everything to figure out the issue and I am at a stand-still. I would also like to mention that every single game I have tried to load up for the first time, it has had an error message. This includes Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and many, many more. These are games that shouldn't have issues since they're actually pretty basic games. Every game has been fixed by a reboot. I simply cannot understand how the reboots have fixed the issues with the games, but they apparently have been working so far. Furthermore, as of right now, my biggest issue has been trying to get Origin to download Battlefield 3 and 4 since Origin has been crashing constantly. I am unable to download anything from Origin because of this, and I'm just so upset right now. I've only have the stupid thing for a day and I've had more issues with this single desktop then I've ever had on any computer I have owned in my entire life.

Other Thoughts: Unless mine is completely rouge, don't buy this computer unless you think you'd know every solution that could ever happen to a computer because mine is apparently the computer from hell.

I'm equally upset because I saved up for so long and I even gave her a name :( RIP Debra. </3

2 out of 5 eggsAdequate

Pros: Good price, not loaded down with bunk ad ware or junkware

Cons: Video card lacks sufficient power, will need to be replaced for any gaming beyond using low settings for games like Company of Heroes II, Firefall, Theif, etc.

PSU died in under a year. Will have to check warranty.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I bought this computer because I was need for a start gaming pc, This is a pc with a decent graphics card and large power supply to keep me up to date for now with my friends' gaming pcs. It was relatively cheap and had good enough graphics card to run DayZ and other games that require good graphics.

Cons: I bought it on a Friday and have to wait till Tuesday to get the PC.

Other Thoughts: The computer leaves lots of available space to replace things if and when it needs to be replaced.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money

Pros: Very decent computer and amazing for the price. Cheap processor and graphics card but the build of the computer pretty much pays for itself. For $500, it comes with microsoft word which is $100 alone. The processor and GPU are about $200 together. The $200 is for everything else which is needed, and in my opinion is a really great deal (case, power supply, motherboard etc....). For $500 you can't beat this computer, but you also can't expect a lot out of it either. For a first gaming computer, it is definitely a great pick... however, it may need replacement parts down the line. Sadly, mine was defective after a few days but for the most part, it was a great computer while I had it. Definitely recommend this computer to any beginner gamers look for a computer.

Cons: Can't see it doing extreme tasks, low processor and gpu. Power supply isn't great. Fan is quite loud but you get used to it. Processor isn't very fast.

Other Thoughts: Definitely great investment if you are on a tight budget. This computer will do the job you need, unless you plan on doing a lot of gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: So Far this thing is a beast! I love it the mouse that came with it works great

Cons: The keyboard that comes with it is a piece of JUNK! ( i kinda expected it because of all the bad reviews about the keyboard)

Other Thoughts: The problem with the keyboard is that you would press "c" it would type "XC"

4 out of 5 eggsRuns fairly well

Pros: Runs pretty much everything on higher settings. Some things with a bit of visual lag though so adjustments need to be made for smooth play. No issues with the CPU itself.

Cons: Keyboard it came with won't capitalize the middle row of letters using the shift keys and the mouse has a nasty squeak to it that is really annoying.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend it as I was probably just unlucky with the keyboard and mouse.

4 out of 5 eggs2 years and still runs

Pros: 1.) Low cost, still a great value
2.) Runs almost every game at medium settings smoothly
3.) Get 60-70 fps in Counterstrike Source
4.) Get 27-60 fps in Wildstar on medium/low settings
5.) Have had the computer for 2 years now and it is still running the games I love, I have given it minimal maintenance (I tend to treat my electronics like an a neglectful father treats his kids) and for the most part I have had no problems.
6.) computer case looks cool, plus I like to hide things in the front cover where it has a door over the disk drive
7.) the 2 USB and sound hookups in the front make it convenient for using headset and other USB devices with ease.

Cons: 1.) After about 1 year the fan on the CPU has broken and there was some dust build up on the inside (I never cleaned it until then) and I have not put a new fan on it sense, instead I took the case apart and have a house fan blowing on it while I am playing games to prevent it from over heating, if I don't have the fan it overheats and shuts off, this is an easy fix, but I am lazy.
2.) Graphics card could be improved, still runs the games at acceptable settings, but my new favorite MMO (Wildstar) I need to have settings on low to run pvp(battlegrounds) without lag (just updated graphics card and had a noticeable increase in FPS 30-45 while in combat)

Other Thoughts: Overall great computer for its value, I bought it for 569$ just about 2 years ago, so I would say if you purchase now you may consider updating the graphics card in the near future as newer games come out with high standards, but everything else is perfect.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsBetter this time around

Pros: big, roomy case, components laid out very nicely, lots of air flow, great job of packing the computer. runs quiet and smooth

Cons: nothing yet

Other Thoughts: i bought one of these almost three years ago and it has been a real workhorse. worked hard about ten hours a day. over 12,000 hours on it and never a blue screen or a problem. i had good customer service. finally needed a second one and of course looked at many and just could not find anything better for the price. it came this week and was packaged perfectly, much better than the first one. set it up and it is running great. its quietier than the last one and runs cooler probably because of the better in case set up and more vents.
its highly recommended and i dont do that lightly. and win7 is what i will be sticking with for a long time. putzing inside the case is a pleasure with all the room.
