2 out of 5 eggsGlad it's discontinued

Pros: It runs good ...when it runs.

Cons: Power supply is defective.
RMA'd it first time within an hour of use on the first day.
A year later the power supply blows up again..a month past warranty. CyberPower tells me I have to replace/pay for everything damaged on my own.

Other Thoughts: Good thing it's discontinued so others don't have to deal with this nightmare in the future. And it's one less piece of trash from Cyberpower on the market.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It turned on.

Cons: Either had to immediately adjust power settings or had to have some kind of program running in back round or else it would shut down requiring me to turn off power supply to reboot. If any device unplugs from front side usb ports I get the blue screen of death. I bought this system because it was in the "gaming" section of new egg site, but it barely runs counter strike source. After less than a year, if I leave it running over night the fans run at a suspicious and continuous rate. (max power, no power, max power, no power) Horribly unsatisfied with this computer.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGood rig

Pros: Good rig honestly. For this computer came with and its price it is a great deal. I personally haven't had any hard ware issues. other than a power sag knocked out the PS once but cyber power replaced that within 2 weeks.

Cons: Just the graphics card

Other Thoughts: Within the first year i replaced the graphics card and upgraded the RAM but it has been a great computer the CPU is great and overclock capabilities are great had it O/C to 4.6Ghz for awhile testing the CPU to see what it could take. It's still running with no issues almost a year later.

1 out of 5 eggsBad parts, never buying again

Pros: The tower itself is very light, so that's nice. That's about the only good thing I have to say.

Cons: I had my first version of this PC for about 5 days, when the power supply failed. When I booted it up one day, sparks flew everywhere out the back, and then the PC was dead. It was not only frustrating, but pretty scary to see a show like that. I submitted a return and received my new PC a couple weeks later. Right off the bat, I could tell there were problems with the second one. From the first day, I could hear the hard drive making odd clicking sounds, very loud ones. Over the next week, the performance got worse and worse. The computer froze all the time, I got the BSOD at least 10 times, and it was slow and laggy, even when I was only running one program. Sometimes, it wouldn't boot up at all. Other times, it would prompt me to do a recovery. Other times, it prompted me to roll back to a previous version. I tried all of those, but nothing helped. I'm now returning this PC and I'm going to receive my third one in a couple weeks. I have very low expectations for this third one.

Other Thoughts: My rating of 1/5 is for this CyberPowerPC, not Newegg itself. Newegg customer service has been helpful throughout, getting me both of my returns, but I will NEVER buy anything from CyberPowerPC ever again, and I have told all my friends my story and recommended they never support CyberPowerPC either. To have 2 catastrophic hardware failures like this after owning each PC under a week is completely unacceptable. If I could cancel my order or get a refund, I would, but all I can do is get returns. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this PC.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat.. For a short period.

Pros: The system itself is great for gaming, the case has nice lights and circulation. 2 stars because it works nice while it's alive.

Cons: A little less than 3 months in, the power supply died and I was unable to even turn on the unit. I guess I should have read more of the reviews here, because it sounds like the PSU failure is systematic and common to this system.

Called CyberPower to RMA, and they are paying for the shipping for the repair, but are replacing the PSU with an identical one which will probably last for a similar amount of time. The whole process will take 2 weeks, which is a giant inconvenience if you rely on having a working computer.

Other Thoughts: Buy a different gaming rig with a PSU designed to support the system's components. Not sure if I want to replace the PSU because now I'm afraid that other parts will start to fail.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good

Pros: -Fast
-Cool looking case
-Easy to set up
-Excellent cooling

Cons: -Only one HDMI port
-No SD Card slot

Other Thoughts: Many people say the computer is huge, when really in gaming-computer speak it is mid-size. Overall it has been an excellent computer for my needs.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good processor, plenty of memory for starters, large case makes getting in the tower easy and is really good for airflow. The graphics card is ok but is probably going to be replaced in the near future.

Cons: The PSU is absolutely terrible. Promptly replaced that piece of junk with an Antec 750w and this pc is humming.

Other Thoughts: This is a good pc for the price I paid for it, the only regret is the psu that came with it and it is now no longer in the picture. Overall a good buy.

1 out of 5 eggsPoorly built and false advertising with PSU

Pros: The system specs on paper, sound great.

Cons: However the installation of the hardware was very poor. Thermal paste was all over the heatsink and CPU. The screws for the Motherboard were not aligned correctly. And lastly, the PSU was not powerful enough to even run the system. It ran for a few weeks before the PSU died. I replaced it with a better PSU and it worked fine until the CPU eventually fried from the poor install.

Other Thoughts: This is the second CyberPowerPC system I purchased that was faulty. I will not be ordering from their company again.

Manufacturer Response:

2 out of 5 eggsReview update

Pros: good for people that are just
getting into pc gaming

Cons: -The hardware inside doesn't add up to the asking price
-It looks like they stripped some parts from the commander ms-i case
-Screws and spacers are missing if you plan on upgrading your mobo
-horrible hdd
-i somewhat regret the purchase

Other Thoughts: look on youtube on how to build your own pc...i should have waited 2 weeks to get well oriented with building my own pc and basically i have to replace my mobo, already replaced a psu, and upgraded my gpu

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsIt is decent

Pros: Good air-circulation. Powerful 8 core CPU. Good GPU to play many games on highest graphics settings. Okay keyboard and mouse.

Cons: PSU is still okay so far and does not cause any problem. Many reviews have mentioned the PSU problem. But, so far for me, it is still running good. Noisy CPU fan. I call the technical support and they are sending me a brand new CPU fan.

Other Thoughts: Good technical support.
