2 out of 5 eggsMachine Died. D-E-D Dead

Pros: Spec's provided seem great. Not all dead parts are Cyberpower's fault.

Cons: Multiple parts dead within a year. Entire system required for replacement. Shipping cost put on customer. Computer overheats quickly. Video card on fire when ever a moderate load is put on it.

1 out of 5 eggsI didn't want to believe it

4 out of 5 eggsCyberpower

Pros: It's blazingly fast. I got mine half off as a refurb, for which it gets additional stars from me.

Cons: Cyberpower support is virtually non-existant and has always been that way. Buy this box and you're on your own.

Other Thoughts: I owned it for 4 months before I had weird hard drive clicking noises. Inside, there's a dangling fan adapter attached to one of the 12v power plugs. Maybe I'm the cause for it's dangling but I only opened it once before and I don't randomly touch things. I assume it was shorting and removed it since it wasn't doing anything anyway. Since then I've installed a 240gb SSD and I've had a few blue screens. I think I disabled the fan control on the CPU radiator, the fan doesn't wind up when the CPU goes flat out. My lazy solution was to turn the CPU power down to 90%, and I haven't had an issues since then.

One last thought, I had such nervousness that one day I pressed restart several times (instead of power) and was about to RMA, but one last check proved it was working! A poorly placed button, panic and a defeatest attitude almost killed it when nothing else has.

1 out of 5 eggsbluescreen,and crashing

Pros: when it ran...it ran wonderfully.

Cons: But blue screening and crashing was a regular thing. There was a issue with the timing of information from one core to another. The person responding to my mail didn't know anything. The company had my computer for over 5 weeks and didn't know what was wrong with it. When I said I would get better business involved, they packed up my computer and sent it to me. It still blue screened and crashed, and the windows 7 crashed and we had to reload everything. the last thing that happened was the screen went black and there was a pop and no more computer. Completely dead. Now they want me to pay for postage. I'm on a low fixed income and can not afforded the postage. I'm ready to go to better business....from the posts this computer design needs work.

Other Thoughts: I'm on a low fixed income and can not afforded the postage.
It tool me a couple of years to get this in the first place. I'm ready to go to better business....from the posts this computer design needs work.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Happy

Pros: WAS a fast machine

Cons: Read my earlier review: This machine has died again for the second time in just six mths. I had to pay $108 in shipping last time to have the machine repaired and now they are telling me that I must pay shipping again!
NOT HAPPENING!

Other Thoughts: I am done with CYBERPOWER. I have voided my warrenty and took the machine to my local PC Tech who found issues in the cooling system that explained why the machine failed in the first place.
The Mobo and Cpu has fried.
Customer service is ridiculous!. . .I asked to speak to a manager and I was told that there was no manager.
SERIOUSLY!. . .How can you succeed by treating customers this way?
I am currently seeking legal action

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Waste Your Money

Pros: The 1st unit shipped only had a BOS 2 to 3 times a week before the power supply went out

BOS: clock interupt on secondary processor

Box was wicked fast when it worked

Newegg.com shipped out an advanced RMA

Cons: BOS
Power Supply failed

The advanced RMA had same BOS that first box had but much worse. Every 5 minutes worse.

Other Thoughts: after advanced RMA was also a failure we returned the unit and purchased another computer from a different manufacturer.

1 out of 5 eggsExpensive punching bag

Pros: Pretty blue lights.

Cons: First time I turned it on, power supply fan was chopping at wires. After pinning them out of the way, the computer proceeded to BSOD at random, completely turn off or restart, and simply lock up.

I can't leave it alone to do time-consuming tasks like downloading because there is a 90% chance it will digitally defecate all over itself within 20 minutes.

Hard drive makes horrible noises like it's full of tiny crabs and apparently does not like being surprised by daunting tasks like opening folders or not corrupting itself every shutdown.

Basically if you wanted a computer, tough nuts, but I bet if you used burn-in tests with FurMark it'd make a great toaster.

Other Thoughts: Love all the QC stickers plastered around in this thing like someone made sure it worked before shoving it onto the market.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Buy

Pros: When it came it looked pretty and ran beautifully.. for a while.

Cons: On day one it blue screened. 4 times. BlueScreen error is most general error out there. Emailed support staff and communication was slow and then completely cut off with no response for a week. Finally called it in and they just tell me to send it in. Supposed to get a prepaid shipping label via email with 2 days... never did. Check out their facebook page for some more great stories of there customer support.

Other Thoughts: I would probably have no trouble if they wouldn't be running out my warranty. I started running the backup utility and i couldnt even do that before the piece of junk would crash again. Ridiculous.

3 out of 5 eggsDead PC (continue)

Pros: Very Fast Machine

Cons: Just died without warning

Other Thoughts: A continuation of my earlier post.
I called Tech Support, who btw were very friendly. After I explained what happened, the guy stated that he thought it could be the Power Supply or the Motherboard. He did offer to send me a Power supply if I could install myself, but I then reminded him that he said it could also be the motherboard, and I didn't feel like shipping parts back and fourth till we got the right one. He then suggested that I return the unit and they would fix it.
My Beef right now is that I had to pay $108 to ship this thing one way, when this machine is less than 2 mths old.
My question is, why should I have to be out of pocket for a product that I confidently paid over a Grand for just 2 mths ago....Sorry guys, the shipping should be on you. This is poor.

3 out of 5 eggsDead PC

Pros: Very Fast Machine.

Cons: Was very impressed with the machine until this evening when it just died without any warning, and will not restart.
Had the machine for less than 2 months and not pleased to say the least.

Other Thoughts: I am contacting customer care and I will keep you updated on how they resolve this issue.
