4 out of 5 eggsWhat I Expected For the Price

Pros: Very fast and excellent build quality. Bought it on sale and couldn't have built it for less. Well packaged with good documentation supplied. I received the entire MSI mobo box, accessories, disks, documentation plus a Windows install disk in case I should ever need it. Haven't seen that kind of thing in quite a while.

Cons: Lack of SATA ports.

Other Thoughts: Unlike other posters I've found the fan noise to be quite acceptable and actually less than I've grown accustomed to. These kind of things are subjective anyway. I don't expect any kind of performance machine to be whisper quiet. If it were I'd be worried about cooling issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price for powerful PC

Pros: Fast processor, easily overclocked to 4GHz, case for lots of storage

Cons: SATA cables positioned right in front of a metal post

Other Thoughts: purchased openbox and all is well for a couple months now

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It was a great gaming PC until it starting giving me issues.

Cons: I have had this computer for only about 3 months now, and I have encountered a few really annoying problems. Every time I start up my computer it makes a really awful crackling sound, and has slowed down considerably for me ever since it started, I even encounter the occasional freezing. I'm not a computer expert, but I'm guessing this is some kind of hardware failure since I can hear the terrible crackling noise coming from inside from who only knows what. The noise I could get over if it wasn't so loud but this machine wasn't worth the $1200 just so it would fail on me a few months later. I am overall disappointed with this PC.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gomputer

Pros: As others have mentioned, the motherboard in this computer is first rate for an inexpensive pre-built. Another review mentioned the motherboard was different, the one I received is basically the same motherboard, but supports 128 gigs of ram rather than the 64 gigs listed in the details. Lots of ram, and lots of space for more ram. As a professional photographer I need USB 3 for external devices that allow me to transfer pictures, and I need to access external hard drives, this computer fits the bill. One thing I found interesting is the amount of documentation for all the things in the computer, first time I had seen that in a pre-built. Well made, name brand video card, motherboard, ect., just a good solid fast machine from CyberpowerPC. A lot of boom for the buck.

Cons: Not a big fan of the door on the front panel, I guess I'll get used to it (or eventually accidentally break it off!).

Other Thoughts: I haven't owned this machine long, I'm just getting all my software ported over. But based on what I've done with this computer using Photoshop, it looks like a winner!

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGood Specs for a low price

Pros: Very decent specs at a great price compared to other high end, pricier computers
Windows 8
very good for gaming and great for office use

Cons: didn't receive the exact computer shown/listed as certain components have been changed/removed:
Graphics card shown - N650-1GD5/OC - 2 DVI/1 Mini-hdmi
Graphics card received - N650-1GD5/OCV1 - 1 DVI, 1 D-SUB, 1 Full HDMI
Didn't receive DVI/HDMI adapters shown in pics (due to different video card)
No exterior fan connected to side/access panel
Motherboard is different that what is shown (but seems to have same specs)

Other Thoughts: As with Roger's review, I would have liked to get exactly what I thought I was ordering, but, for me, they are minor inconveniences as I still got a great computer at a decent price. If you decide to go with this computer, just beware as you may not get what you see listed.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsGamer Xtreme 1353

Pros: Very Fast Computer....did games with amazing graphics and speed. Attractive package

Cons: The computer that I received was not what was pictured on the website. The video card was different and the web showed a fan mounted in the side and that fan was not on the computer that I received. I have complained that I did not receive what was pictured.....and after about 8 days I was sent paperwork to send it back for refund. This does not solve my problem...as I want what was pictured and is still pictured on this website. I will buy elsewhere next time. There has been no explanation why I didn't get what I ordered...even though I have asked. I need two DVI monitor connections on the back and these are pictured in the ad and the computer they sent had only one because the video card was different than advertised.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsGood gaming pc

Pros: This computer was great for me. I was able to play all the latest games smoothly with little or no hiccups.

Cons: The specs of the pc are good, but I'm not sure I really like the windows 8 interface. I was horrified to find that on the desktop screen there was no start button in the bottom left, though you can easily fix this by downloading some free apps. Other than windows 8, my biggest gripe with this pc has to be the fan. The fan is fairly loud and constantly running, so be warned if you're buying this computer!

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsWorth Buying

Pros: compare to the old pc i built 3 yrs ago (dual core), i needed a powerful machine for Film Production, CGI and VFX. This so far came the best, right budget and heavy duty rams with cores. I advice people in my field to do more research when buying a mighty power PC for media. You cant go wrong with Intel, i7 Core, GHz, and ram of 16-64GB up. Its fast, its neat, it has good rendering timing.

Cons: It comes with Win 8, i thought it will be easy used OS, i was wrong. I honestly preferred Win 7. Most software don't function with Win 8. Also, it took me awhile to get use to it. Win 8 lacks of few vulnerable things but patience is a virtue.

Other Thoughts: I am getting hang with my lovely Cyberpower PC. I also tried games like StarCraft 2, and it was sexy in graphic. I have render works using MAYA, 3d Max, C4D and AE. Its perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat bang for the buck

Pros: *fast
*decent graphics
*decent ram
*great PCU

Cons: *hard drive could be faster.

Other Thoughts: computer has been great from day one. i did how ever have a strange screeching noise that randomly happened. thought it could be the hard drive but it wasn't. it seems to have gone away. i did how ever find a few loose connections that i fixed "that noises seem to stop afterwards". these connection where not loose when the computer was first inspected . but nothing to down rate it over. all in all extremely happy with this computer. as i can now stream everything i play with 100 - 300 fps no problem.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic deal if you can't build your own.

Pros: This is a powerful processor and fantastic motherboard in a pre-assembled build. The first is fairly easy to find, the second is extremely hard to find in pre-assembled builds.. Neither is common to find at budget prices.

Shop around.. Look at the other pre-built systems on NewEgg. Similar systems sell for 200+ dollars more and their i7 3770k builds feature older microATX motherboards with far fewer features. I can't express how rare it is to find a build of this quality pre-assembled for less than a grand. There's a reason the motherboard this ships with is sold out on NewEgg.. has 8x DRAM slots and more sata connections than the Asrock extreme 4 x79 mobo.

Cons: The GTX 650 1gig card just isn't powerful enough for the gaming i want to do (1080P through my panasonic TC-50ST30 plasma TV)... especially not with games like Skyrim that are reliant on having more memory.

Also the included hard drive while spacious doesn't have the speeds I require for music recording and the like, but at sub-1K costs, you are still getting a lot so it's hard to complain.

Other Thoughts: If you're buying this PC to game with today and want to play any of the newer games, just plan on upgrading the video card. You will need better than a GTX 650 if you're going to do any serious gaming and want smooth frames.

With the added cost of a GTX 670 / HD 7950 Vid. card and SSD drives, you'd be better off building your own PC if you're capable. You can price out an i7 3930K with an MSI GTX 670 PE for the same cost as this build + a better video card. Aren't 6-core processors really the point in having the 2011 socket anyway?

3930K
Asus sabertooth x79
MSI gtx670 PE
intel 335 SSD
thermaltake black widow 850 watt modular PS

NO HDD .. not even for storage yet. couldn't afford. :(

And a Corsair Vengeance case... all for 100 dollars more than this setup and a gtx 670.
WORTH IT.
