5 out of 5 eggsFirst Gaming PC, First Great PC

Pros: great base to start your own gaming pc, has plenty of upgrades you can make the possibilities is all up to you. Its a great looking case, cables are cleanly hidden and its just fast. When I got it I changed the video card and it ran great. I would definitely upgrade in the future and stick with cyberpowerpc

Cons: Noisy processory fan, I can deal with it some people complain about it. Preference I guess

4 out of 5 eggsGood for the Price

Pros: The price, the speed of the computer, and the mouse and keyboard that comes with it. Very nice and feels very nice. The CPU is nice, the speed in general of the PC is really nice.

Cons: the video card. Its great for playing games like Gmod, Insurgency, minecraft, WarThunder on low. The video card I though would be nice for the games I play, Final Fantasy 14, Arma, DayZ,Rust, and WoW I'm only getting 10 FPS.

Other Thoughts: Its a nice PC for the price, for low level graphics games its great. Higher end graphics you would need a new video card. Its a very beautiful PC, its loud but its not loud where its annoying. The best thing I like is the mouse and keyboard. They feel very nice and light. The mouse comes with weight in it that you can remove or add to make what you feel is nice.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing for gaming with room for expansion

Pros: Altogether amazing pc, I mainly use it for gaming. Altough I changed the video card to a GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked, I play Diablo 3, ghost recon and WOW on all high setting with no issue. There is definetly room to expand with this pc though!

Cons: Its a bit on the noisy side not sure if its the PC itself or the graphics car (GeForce GTX 750 Superclocked)

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: This PC was not for me, but for someone who was looking for a new desktop and came to me for advice. They're not using it for games, but for more common tasks. I set up the machine and it seemed to be working fine. It responded very quickly and did common tasks like surfing without a hitch. The person was thrilled with it and also with the price.

Hoping that it holds up.

Cons: It's early yet, but none so far.

Other Thoughts: I think these gaming desktops that Newegg offers are viable options for someone who's looking for a good bang for heir buck.

I bought one myself that had Windows 7 on it and upgrade the power supply and video card and I use that to play games. All in all...not bad!

2 out of 5 eggsGood buy if you're looking for trouble.

Pros: I was able to get it operational.

Cons: SATA was not hooked up to the motherboard, dented case, noisy CPU fan, BIOS come screwy.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this computer because of the bad reviews. I figured this would give me the opportunity to put my compTIA cert. to practice. In that respect it did not fail to deliver. Since I got this thing I've been trouble shooting.

First, the SATA drive was not properly hooked up to the motherboard.

Second, the case has a gnarly dent in the top.

Third, the BIOS would not allow the machine to go into sleep mode all the way. The screen would go black, but the comp. would remain running.

And now, the CPU fan makes an awful squeal while on.

Over all the computer did exactly what I needed it to do, and that was to be a pain and not work. But, I got the computer running, and now that it does run it works alright. Runs games decently enough

L4D2: 30 FPS, and that is with quality maxed
Battle Field 3: a solid 30 FPS, medium quality

Gaming was not the reason I purchased this machine. Again, I purchased this machine hoping for difficulty and it delivered.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a BEAST!

Pros: Windows 8, CPU capacity, everything else!

Cons: Backspace on the keyboard, slightly noisy fan

Other Thoughts: I REALLY like this computer. I should state that it's my first tower since, well, huge monitors. In any case, I've put it through the motions and it's handled everything I can throw at it. I do think the door on the front is a bit useless. Most gamers I know are using the front USB ports on a regular basis (headsets, keypads, etc), so putting a door blocking access to that unless it's hanging open all of the time doesn't really make sense for a gaming tower. Aesthetics of it are great...functionality, not so much. There's a ton of room inside the tower for upgrading, also. Love that! Interior lighting is nowhere near as bright as the picture would lead you to believe.

I suppose the fan is a bit on the noisy side, but it's nowhere near as bad as I was expecting from reading other reviews. If you turn the speed down a notch, the issue goes away and the computer still stays nice and cool.

Also, getting a new keyboard asap. I hate the mini backspace button. Not a big deal, though!

5 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for your buck!

Pros: Great Price, Great Performance, Room for Upgrades, Beautiful Tower, Quiet, Powerful.

Cons: Difficult to troubleshoot until you learn the right access key for the bios.

Other Thoughts: This thing was beautiful and worked perfectly right out of the box. However, yesterday when I went to turn on my PC it was throwing no bootable device error. I assumed some update must have messed up my order of boot or my flash drive I accidentally left in messed it up. Well I had a difficult time trying to get into the bios to see what was going on. I called Cyberpower tech support to assist me in troubleshooting. They were great and told me the trick in is during boot up to press delete repeatedly to access bios. Found out it was trying to load windows before it even booted from hard drive. After fixing that it was back to being a beast.

You may be reading mixed reviews, but always remember there are people with less tech knowledge or just will never be pleased with something.

If you want a great entry for gaming level desktop I say go for it. Worried you can not troubleshoot if problems arise? Well, it does come with lifetime tech support from cyberpower as well as like a 3 year limited warranty.

Just remember if you call IT support to be calm and patient they are there to help you and understand the frustration more than you would ever think. Getting upset and yelling doesn't fix your computer faster and nobody wants to help someone who is being irate.

1 out of 5 eggsIf it's too good to be true, it usually is

Pros: Great specs for price
Good performance when it works

Cons: PSU failed within a few months of limited use.
The computer was not used at all for the first two weeks (was packed as a gift). It was only used a few times a week and no more than a few hours. One day the computer simply would not start. The power supply stopped working, and the computer has been a useless placeholder in the desk for almost a month now.

I contacted customer service and was told that I can ship them my faulty power supply (I will have to pay for shipping), and they will check the product and send me a replacement if psu is faulty.

Other Thoughts: This was the first of two CyberPowerPC I purchased because I didn't want to take the time to build one myself. I will never again buy another product from this company nor recommend anyone buy from them. NOTE: The second device came with broken fans-- blades literally went flying inside the tower the first time I powered on the device.

When I purchase a product, I expect it to work (especially during the entire warranty period). I also expect proper compensation for a faulty product. I did not build a poor quality product and sell it, so I should not be responsible for costs associated with replacement of faulty products. I SHOULD NOT have to pay for shipping, or disassembling parts. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I SHOULD NOT have to wait weeks for parts to be shipped, inspected, replaced and re installed.

DO NOT BUY CYBERPOWERPC.

4 out of 5 eggsA review

Pros: Quick for the price, Solid build quality, Plenty of room to upgrade components and add on

Cons: Hit or Miss PSU, Loud

Other Thoughts: I bought this a beast a while back (well over a year), but felt compelled to write a review based on the reviews of it I've read since buying it.

First, if you experience a loud "popping noise" and then it won't turn back on, this is likely your power-supply unit (PSU). These are relatively cheap to fix, if nothing else went wrong when it went out. Mine did this and it was back up and running within a day or so (shipping time for the PSU).

Second, you get what you pay for, but in this case you get quite a bit more than you pay for. This beast is quick, more than what the average user is going to need for most applications. More modern games will not run at full capacity, and the system is quite loud (it's the CPU fan), but it is a brilliant machine for the price. If one spends a few hundred extra to upgrade the Graphics card and maybe the RAM, it WILL play much higher settings on newer games and be an even more capable machine.

Thanks for reading this review.

5 out of 5 eggsbang for your buck

Pros: Ive had this beast for about 2 years now havent had any problems i run any and every game on max with no lag at all and awesome fps its very quite the looks of the case are bad*** SO WORTH the price and it also has the watercooling ready adapters what more could you ask for :D

Cons: only thing i could consider a con would be the graphic card that comes with it you technically dont have to upgrade it but i upgraded mine and its worth it if your a hardcore gamer

Other Thoughts: all an all id say this is the only computer i can see myself gaming on with 6 cores of power it blows away the competition
