4 out of 5 eggsOver all happy with it

Pros: Looks good with what seems to be power to spare. Lots of room in the case. Runs fast and smooth. Fan on the side of the case is a nice add

Cons: Can be a little loud. Video card not really up to par. The fan on the door though a help is right in line with the video card slot so a wide card may have an issue.

Other Thoughts: I put in a GIGABYTE GV-N660OC-2GD GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 and it made the games run at max levels. A problem, the fan on the back panel of the PC has never turned on once,. I don't know if this is by design or not but the PC seems to run hot so if it's looking for a certain temp to turn on I am not really sure how high to high is. Overall I would recommend the PC if the PC were a little cooler

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks good. Good mouse and keyboard.

Cons: I've had problems with this pc. This is the first time I have purchased from Cyberpower and I'm pretty sure it's going to be the last!
It's making popping noises. I can't use ear buds etc. because I can't hear anything with them. I did get it working one time and then the next time I tried to use the buds, no sound! Several times after using the pc and going to desktop when I came back I got a solid blue screen and it froze up, had to manually turn it off!
I'm too old to deal with this nonsense.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat starter pc

Pros: Lots of room for growth. I just bought a gtx 660 graphics card for it. Hope it fits!

Cons: Keyboard feels cheap.

4 out of 5 eggsNice computer to build up from

Pros: I've had this computer for about 9 months now, and I really enjoy it.
It's cooled well for what it comes with, as long as you undust it every once in a while it never overheats
Well worth the cash spent for the performance; I picked it up for $600 and wouldn't have been able to get it cheaper buying the parts and assembling it myself.
Plenty of USB ports.
The keyboard and mouse are pretty nice. One of the mouse's side buttons finally popped out after 8 months of abuse (I had it set as a push to talk button for communicating) and the keyboard still works perfectly fine.

Cons: Hard drive failed after around 6 months, and are apparently known to fail.
If you plan on doing anything terribly graphics intensive, you NEED a better graphics card.
Because of cyberpowerpc's warranty, if a part goes bad you're pretty much on your own unless you want to send the whole computer in, which costs a fortune in shipping.

Other Thoughts: Really nice if you want something mid-tier to work up from. I've probably put $300 into upgrading it and other equipment, and really love it. It works for pretty much all gaming once you bump up the graphics card (A GTX 650 has worked great for me for around $100). A good buy if you can afford a couple upgrades.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: - Very fast
- Good amount of disk space
- Decent video card comes with it
- Easily accessible USB/Mic/Speaker ports on the front-top of the tower
- Looks pretty cool when powered on

Cons: - Comes with Windows 8 (it is OKAY, but hard to get used to), however, you can get a program that will mimic a start button by searching Google for Classic Shell
- Kind of a larger tower, so it is a pain to transport if you go to a friends house for an extended period of time and want to bring it with you
- Stock keyboard is meh, mouse is meh (still better than most standard keyboards and mice you would buy at like Meijer's or Wal-Mart)
- Graphics card needs to be upgraded if you play any super intensive games (I can run Starcraft II, WoW and League of Legends just fine on the highest settings, Diablo 3, however, is a tad laggy)

Other Thoughts: Great buy for what you pay for it. I highly recommend this system to a broke gamer that just got his taxes (not referring to me or anything :p)

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible customer service

Pros: Ran great...while it was running. Fast bootup. While it was operational, it was everything I'd hoped for, after replacing the lower-end video card with the NVidia 560 I already had.

Cons: After 4 months, the system died. Refused to read the harddrive. Got a new harddrive sent to me, upon installation was sluggish and froze upon simple tasks, refusing to respond to anything. Sent entire system back, was returned with swapped memory, NO change to performance.

Other Thoughts: Have been trying for 6 weeks to get my system fixed properly or replaced, still waiting. System is at present 4 months old.

4 out of 5 eggsSome beginning issues.

Pros: When i purchased this item i was hoping to use it and upgrade it's parts through-out my ownership. It is now working fine, and i have yet to see it fail whilst downloading anything.

Cons: However, the day i turned it on, i worked fine. I went out to get food whilst downloading Skyrim, and when i returned it was off. IT DID NOT WORK FOR 2-3 MONTHS. I randomly tried to turn it on 2 days ago and it worked. So far it's quite nice.

Windows 8 is a learning curve.

I'm scared to update anything without thinking it'll shut off.

Other Thoughts: go big or go home. This is my second purchase through newegg and my first was a 599 computer that crapped itself after a few months of use. This, i hope, will not be the worst thing i buy. 3/6.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great Pc for the price, i mainly bought for the great i5 in it, so far it has worked great, (have had for going on 6 months) Except for one thing....

Cons: Obviously the graphics card is not up to par with the rest of the computer, but that's not my main problem....The problem i had with this computer (and i see this pop up in a few reviews throughout this page) is the hard drive, after about 5.5 months it started making a really annoying clicking noise and my computer wouldn't boot.... after i finally got it to boot i got a message informing me that my hard drive was at risk of failing, and i should move all of my data :/

Other Thoughts: Ordering an SSD and a 660 and after those upgrades i;m confident that this PC will be able to run all of the games i play without any hiccups

4 out of 5 eggsFirst buy with Cyberpower, great experience!

Pros: Case is very big, clean, cable management is very nice. The case features nice screws to open the side panel with your hands, no screwdriver involved for quick access.

The case also comes with red LED lights, and cyberpower packaged a great keyboard and mouse, never used anything like it.

All the USB ports worked, I changed the graphics card to a 7850 NO problem at all, simply installed and then downloaded and installed the drivers, done.

Windows 8 is VERY snappy, wow.

Overall, I love this computer, and finally have a chance to play games on high settings. From a terrible computer that had BSOD's every 4 hours or so, and never turning on sometimes when put in sleep mode, this computer has given me a sigh of relief, awesome upgrade.

Computer is perfect for the enthusiast who doesn't have time on his hands to order and build his own, but wants to have some upgrading room or a good gaming pc.

Cons: I mentioned the cable management as "neat", but it was kinda annoying cutting the ties to hook up the 6-PIN PCI-E power connector to my graphics card.

Also, the screws position for the graphics cards slots are kinda awkward, my fat screwdriver had a bit of trouble getting and loosening the screws, overall it worked.

Also, the USB ports are on TOP of the case, I don't know how common this is, but since the computer slides into my desk, and the wooden part where my mouse goes is covering the USB ports, I have to slightly slide the PC out while it's operating to put in my USB. It's kinda annoying, I wish there USB ports on the face of it.

Overall, I'm just nitpicking, I love this computer, and the benefits GREATLY outweigh the negatives.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsRun great so far

Pros: Bought this for my daughter

- Everything works great out of the box

- Cabling is neat & clean

- Everything is seated properly, no crooked parts, aside from the casing fan, fan power cable is unplugged, you might want to double check that, no big deal.

- Activating Windows 8 for 1st time use is pretty easy, the key is on the case.

- Run smooth if what you did is only for facebook, youtube, watching movies using VLC and playing flash game on kongregate like my daughter.

Cons: - Windows 8 sucks donkey ba**s
really hard to change anything on this OS
