4 out of 5 eggsLove it!

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: The choice of case is perfect. The NZXT is a stunning piece of art*. I love it's cable management and it's innovative use of space. I had been trying to get rid of the dang BD/DVD/CD drives for years and this thing is my dream.

It's lighting fast right out of the box thanks to the Scandisk (good choice) SSD. It's really quiet, so if you're like me and place your PC right up next to you on the desk, this is a godsend.

Four old school USB 2 slots and tons of USB 3 slots. Me likie!

The liquid cooler fits perfectly in the case. It doesn't seem jammed in there at all. It looks like it was custom made for it. Love it.

Cons: I've already installed a third HD under the 2TB one that comes with it. That was easy. Super easy. OK... the second SSD bay in the main compartment is completely blocked by cables plugged into the motherboard. There is no way to shove a drive in that space without both crimping those cables AND bending the connection. It's impossible. Sorry, but as much as I adore this PC, it's a MAJOR flaw unless you're content to use it as is.

It's really tricky to get a fourth HD in the lower compartment as well. You can stick a couple on the bottom of the case because the feet on it are high, but I've got it resting on a cart, so that's not an option.

Other Thoughts: *The beauty and simplicity of the case is ruined by the big and ugly "CYBERPOWERPC" decal they attached to the front. There's no way to remove it without damaging the paint.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

It's good to hear that you are, for the most part pleased with the machine that you received and that you've already taken the motive to make upgrades, nothing makes a computer happier in our eyes. Sorry to hear that your SSD bay seems to be blocked off, our build technicians try to be considerate in their cable and parts layout but at times may run out of options. If this issue is something of a roadblock for you then take pictures and send them to Tech@CyberPowerPC.com; they may be able to put their heads together and come up with a way to free up some space around the bay.

5 out of 5 eggsBought this

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: Like anyone else looking at this PC I was nervous buying a pre-built PC ranked at over 2 grand. Yeah.. I feel sheepish now. It's worth every penny and probably a few more. It's lightning fast out of the box. Anyone reading this review is probably considering buying this because the hassle of building a PC is outside their capabilities. Just because we're not scientists doesn't mean we don't want the most out of our games right? I can lay any demons you have to rest concerning this PC; if you want the best gaming experience you can get: Stop looking. This will do it. With this PC I bought the ROG Swift 1440p G-Sync monitor, it's coming today I'll add a review to that when I get it. I will add, the Nvidia GTX 980 in it will run nearly everything at 60 FPS on high/ultra out of the box. If you're like me and get the best gaming monitor on the market without thinking you'll need to order another GTX 980 to run it in SLI to reach 144fps + on ultra at 1440p. That's not a fault of the PC; 1440p at 144fps is more than anything on the market at all period can do with only one GTX 980 on like a AAA title. (Tomb Raider BF4 etc.) Still a single card will hit 60 easily @1440p To Cyberpower PC: This Computer is fabulous I couldn't be happier.

Cons: No cons to list. You get what you pay for in this case anyway.

Other Thoughts: I've read it feels like hundreds of complaints about newegg, as it pertains to "where's my order" why is processing taking so long. Etc. Newegg has the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Hands down. I had to call them 3 times because my orders kept getting rejected or delayed horribly. I then call my bank because after several calls the culprit was my Credit Union bank being sticky about releasing my funds to newegg like they were supposed to. Exasperated I call newegg and they agree to 3 way my banks service center and confirm I'm making a purchase from them. The very kind lady on the phone and I had a good laugh because she'd also never heard of something so ludacris in her life either. She got permission from her supervisor and together we called the bank. If anyone is having to wait 30 years to verify for a big purchase save yourself the hassle of bugging or complaining online about newegg and just call your bank at the same time you're making the purchase - our banks shouldn't earn newegg negative publicity. As for shipping, I finally managed to get the purchase to go through at 6pm Friday. My PC arrived Monday afternoon. They rush delivered it as a way of apology for the massive amount of hassle the entire process was even though they were not at fault. Thank you Newegg will buy again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming computer!

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: This PC offers some of the best hardware out there for less than you would be paying for each piece individually. Well built machine.

Cons: Windows 8 is not my favorite. doesn't come with a simple dvd player and one must be downloaded in order to play dvds. my suggestion is the VLC player. You will also need to download the MSI afterburner to boost your graphics. (If needed...)

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: This is an update to my review over a month ago. This System actually got faster with gpu updates, I have put this thing through the ringer up to 4.5 overclock and stable! Yes there is no dvd/bluray but you can buy a USB3.0 Bluray/dvd burner for $70 or a dvd rw for less than $20. In this day and age optical drives are obsolete, but they do have there usefulness for backing up and installing operating system. This is by far the best system put out by Cyberpowerpc for the price.

Cons: Trying to explain to your non geek friends how awesome this machine is!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, Insanely Fast Machine

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: Let's start from the beginning. Packaging: This machine came very professionally packaged. Well insulated, no broken pieces, very quick delivery (I paid extra for next day service and it was here the next day). Machine: Insanely fast, everything inside the machine is name-brand parts. The machine is crazy quiet (I can't even hear it when it is own). The CPU and GPU run very cool, never seen them go over 47c, even after a few hours in high intensity games. Passmark software benchmarked my overall Machine at 5,500, which is great. GPU benchmarked above all other cards, SSD, CPU, RAM all performed as expected. I also installed another 256 SSD into the machine with no trouble, just to give some extra room for the games I want on an SSD.

Cons: Only complaint is that the specifications section for this machine very specifically says it comes with a DVD/CD RW, which it most certainly doesn't. It is weird having a computer without a CD drive, but I have managed just fine without it so far. Everything is digital these days anyways.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am super happy. I was a little worried about dropping 2 grand on this company and hoping for the best, but things turned out excellent, this machine is all that I hoped for and more. Some FPS if you are interested, all on 1080P Ultra settings, everything maxxed:

Borderlands 2 Pre-Sequel: 207+ FPS
Shadow of Mordor: 85 FPS
WOW (though I don't play it): 112 FPS
Diablo III: 150 FPS, I think it is capped by the game because it never moves

That's all I've tried so far but I am benchmarking pretty evenly with my friend who has 2 R9 290's.

5 out of 5 eggsA Beast

This review is from: CyberpowerPC Desktop PC Reaper 255LQ Intel Core i7 5th Gen 5820K (3.30 GHz) 16 GB DDR4 2 TB HDD 128 GB SSD Windows 8.1 Update 1 64-bit

Pros: This thing will run any game out there on ultra at 1080p. I put this through a 24 hour burn in/torture test and had no issues, cpu only got to 49c. Have not tried to overclock it yet.
Everything in this thing is name brand parts. Ram is crucial and cooler is asustek newegg, does not list what brand but thats what was in mine. I could not build this pc for the price of this one with the parts in it, do the research and you will see. Was kind of worried about the mixed reviews about cyberpower pcs but this one is great. I think for every bad review there are 10 good ones you never see because people are satisfied and to lazy to write a review.

Cons: I am currently having an affair on my wife with this computer

Other Thoughts: oh i forgot to add how quite it is.

Manufacturer Response:
