3 out of 5 eggsPSU is garbage

Pros: Fast, Comes with Windows 8 (Which I personally like), Power switch is pretty neat, GPU is fantastic (GTX660), Quiet

Cons: Psu wattage is too low to support the GTX660 my PC came with.

Other Thoughts: Everything besides the PSU is phenominal (Mostly because I've never owned a fast pc before) It's a 450W generic, meaning it's a pile. So, with that, when I play games for any given period of time the computer reboots itself. It happens about 10 times a day. Sometimes it doesn't reboot at all. Regardless, I'm replacing the PSU, because not having to log myself back into windows every 5 minutes sounds like a much better deal to me than the nifty turbo switch and lights.

2 out of 5 eggsLemon?

Pros: Fast and Quiet.

Cons: unable to recognize secondary hard disk drive. Lenovo's service response is to blame anything else.

Other Thoughts: I am a hard disk repair tech by profession. I set this station up for a friend. It worked fine until I installed a second drive. My goal was to switch out the 2TB drive that came with it with a 512GB SSD. No matter what drive I attached Windows 8 refused to recognize it. However, it was recognized in cmos. Diskpart nor disk manager would see the drive. Lenovo blames it on Windows. Other reviews that I have read have successfully achieved this swap without a problem. I have to assume it is the motherboard. Lenovo won't support it as I am not using one of their drives. After installing several lenovo systems for my clients, I can't recommend them anymore based on Lenovo's refusal to provide adequate support.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Computer

Pros: Love the look Huge hard drive. Very fast boot time runs every thing I use (Microsoft Office, Skyrim, Starcraft and even a high grade archetecture software that requires alot of graphics rendering) perfectly. Great to look at. I like the keyboard. Memery card readers are fast. Great internal sound. Graphis are preety good for them to come base on the computer. Really easy acess into the case wich is very nice.

Cons: Don't like Win 8 that much but it is ok. The memery card reader and front USB ports are at a funny angle. I replaced the power supply so I could get another diskdrive but the cord that goes that displays the lights for the power select switch was not on the new power supply (Thermaltake TR2 600W) ONLY 4 USB PORTS ON THE BACK (my biggest issue)

Other Thoughts: I bought an add on card that gave me 4 more USB ports, and also 4 GB DDR3 runs forever. Best I've bought in 5 years love it.

5 out of 5 eggs430 watt power supply

Pros: Quiet, Powerful, Good Looking, Fast

Cons: Needs more USB ports, Hate tyhe keyboard

Other Thoughts: I looked inside mine and it has a 430 watt power supply, and Samsung memory. Looks easy to change parts inside, like a Dell.

I love my K430, best computer I have owned. Buy with confidence. I hope to get another windows 7 model exactly like it before they dry up. 5 eggs

3 out of 5 eggsPSU scares me

Pros: i7 3770, 12GB DDR3, 2TB HDD @ 7200, 2GB GT 640.

Cons: 280 WATT PSU

Other Thoughts: Don't own it but I was feeling pretty good about everything this computer has to offer when I saw that the PSU is only 280 WATTS. Whoa!

It just doesn't seem like a very good idea.

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice machine, screaming fast

Pros: Very fast CPU and memory. Ran a benchmark test with AutoCAD civil 3d 2012. This system was considerably faster than a Lenovo D20 with dual xeon 2.4 GHz, 24 GB RAM and 2 GB quadro 5000.

Cons: Not Newegg fault...... Kaspersky does not create enterprise version to run on windows 8. Not a big fan of windows 8, downloaded a windows 7 desktop to run on 8. Bluetooth would be nice. Why put a turbo switch on system? (Flashback to DX-266)

5 out of 5 eggsArchitecture Student

Pros: -The i7 allows you to setup 8 threads on your renderings.
-Expandable to 32gb of RAM is great if your render scenes get larger.
-NVIDIA video card is crucial for 3ds renderers.

Cons: -Video card leaves something to be desired.
-The power setting switch is a silly little extra.

Other Thoughts: I have this system with windows 7. As an architecture student that didn't want to build a computer or overclock, I bought this because it had the best value for a basic system. It meets all my needs, but will be easily upgradable if my work requires it. As for the video card, viewport orbiting in sketchup was smooth, revit was decent, rhino was good unless it was a complex model, and max had a hard time with active shade even with a simple model. In conclusion, it was exactly what I expected, the video card may need to get upgraded soon, but I am happy to finally have an i7 processor!
