4 out of 5 eggsDecent business machine

Pros: Decent business performance. Runs linux with no issues.

Cons: Quality control. I bought 4 of these at once. 2 had stickers on the case. 1 case was scratched. 2 were missing the dvdrom door cover. One DVD drive wasn't connected internally.

These do not come with a floppy drive as shown in the picture. Not a big deal since noone uses them anymore, but you should be aware in case you actually need them.

The keyboard and mouse are iMicro branded, not Lenovo.

Other Thoughts: Several minor issues, not worth more than an Egg total. For the roughly $100 pricetag it works fine.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Desktop for the Money

Pros: A smaller desktop footprint, we have this unit laying so the DVD(ROM) tray opens horizontally. The case is sturdy enough to place our 15.5" flat-screen monitor/TV combo on top. All documentation is still available at the well designed website of Lenovo, although drilling down can be a journey since there are so many configurations available. Lots of USB 2.0 ports on the rear ( I counted eight ), and two more on the front. Everything works, and the Windows7 installation specifically for refurbished PCs (included) was flawless. Easy toolless case design makes for pleasant work within for everything except maybe the floppy enclosure area, which appears is missing a drive capture bracket for one side. I won't be using a floppy, but thought about adding an additional hard disk.

Cons: The only con was the abscence of hardware documentation. This was easily remedied while Lenovo is at least willing to post the documentation.

Other Thoughts: The model I purchased is a refurbished PC. You can expect some case scuffing or very minor dents that can be touched-up with something as simple as a permanent marker. While not a PC to run races with, the quality still shows through. Windows performance scoring showed the RAM modules to be the monkey on its back, so I replaced the 2 GB of included RAM with 4 GB I had leftover from another PC, which brought the memory score from 3.9 to 4.9.Now the bottleneck is only at the processor, which is fine for our purposes unless or until it expires. No video card really necessary for intended purposes of email & websurfing, but a card for less than one hundred dollars will greatly smooth out video as in the case of my spouse who likes to browse You-Tube. She is having a nice experience with this PC. All I can add is a "hats off" to the folks at Joysystems, who is shown as the system handler doing the refurbish on the replacement Windows Authentication case label.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Does Everything I throw at it with better speed than from my old 12 year old, BTW, I got this one with XP PRO, Im not sure about it running Win 7, but it should have enough power, or should be upgradable.

Cons: Had to install modern DVD/ CD but it was VERY EASY.

Other Thoughts: I just wish they would put HDMI plug in these. And I wish they left in the floppy I can use external but Id like to put my fav in it. I can WISH cant I LOL.
