3 out of 5 eggssad

Pros: nice when working.

Cons: having a problem with window 8...starting the computer and opening windows office....6 tries tonight.

Other Thoughts: is there a windows 8 problem or is it the system?

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: After putting in the research to purchase a prebuilt gaming computer, I decided to go with this one and I'm not at all disappointed. Every point touched upon by others who reviewed this computer with high marks ring truthfully, and I'm glad I went with it.

Cons: The only con I've found thus far like another individual pointed out, is the CDROM drive is loud. The keyboard is flimsy as someone else pointed out, but I can't really consider that a con because let's face it: it's not what we're here for, it's the computer. The keyboard is merely thrown in extra, and would be decent as a backup if needed.

5 out of 5 eggsFreaking awesome.

Pros: Other than the GPU, CPU and awesome case - this buy has more pro's than the Dallas Cowboys. I really like the 6core CPU, which is a huge upgrade from my Centrino Duo on my laptop, and the GPU which is, again, a huge upgrade from my NVIDIA 9800M GTS 1GB on my laptop.

The case is insanely roomy, and there's a bunch of vents for fans (two vents on top for liquid cooling I believe). The mobo is a midget, but it's still awesome. The 8gigs of Kingston HyperX ram is just awesome.

I play WoW on ultra at 80+FPS, Arma2 with everything on high (except for a few selections) and average 55-63 FPS, GW2 on high stays at a humble 50 FPS and Planetside 2 hovers between 45-55 FPS.

At some point this year I will most likely replace the mobo and try to crossfire in preparation for Quakecon.

Cons: I can only find two things wrong with this rig....1.) the PSU is LOUD. At least mine is. But there's something even louder, which is 2.) the CDROM drive is FREAKING LOUD. Both of these issues can be resolved by purchasing different PSU's and CDROM drives though - so no worries for me.

There's also one tiny flaw that I can easily look past and that's the number of fans...only 1, and it's the blue LED one you see in the pictures. But for $12 I bought two Cooler Master 120mm Blue LED fans from Best Buy so that's all covered.

2 out of 5 eggsWHY!!!

Pros: Started up fine. Not a computer expert by any means but everything seems to be running fine the components themselves installed correctly.

Cons: I GOT NO WINDOWS 8 PRODUCT KEY!!

It really seems like a complete failure to launch on their part. How can you forget such an integral part of a system when it is clearly stated in the description of the item that it will be included. I now get to sit and wait through what seems like an endless call hold system to attempt to fix this.

The morale of the story here is your not getting a bad start-up system for the price. However you ARE FOR SURE risking the inability to get going quickly via this route. What a lazy and completely unwarranted mistake on a system.

Other Thoughts: For the price this isn't a bad deal. As I said I am just unhappy with the fact that I received a system in general that was not as described.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst impression.

Pros: The computer is great hands down. With the processor being able to be over clocked, you can push it to the limit. (only recommended for adv. users) The graphics card is ok and does its job but nothing fancy. I'd recommend adding another stick of 8GB Ram just to have it.

All in all worth the money for this setup!
Also fans are very quite!

Cons: Keyboard and mouse are cheap. I'm keeping them as spares.

Hard Drive holders are very easy to pop out, but can be fixed with screws to hold Hard Drive in instead.

CD-ROM is cheap, but does it's job.

Other Thoughts: This is a great starter computer for a gamer. It has everything you need, while you can still put upgrades onto it.

Gave rating of 4 Eggs because of the cheap parts.

5 out of 5 eggscustomer service

Pros: this is the follow up review from the last one .the review is not about the computer its self as you can see by a couple of the other pepole who have already reviewed it and have lots of good stuff to say about it .In case you did not see what i had wrote previously, when my computer was shipped to me one of the tooless locks on the HDD had come lose and it was hanging from the SATT 2 cables and whatever eles needless to say there was some damage .I think that we all have a little fear in the back of our minds about ordering on line just for such reasons so i am going to talk about the AVATAR and what happened , I e-mailed the message e-mail and sure enough they got a hold of me and without question gave me a Return # and off it went they stood behind there product 100% they gave me first class treatmeant kept me up date with e-mails.I never felt better with a company and they way they treat there customers . so if you buy AVATAR produts dont even worry in the least they got your back. They will always have my gratitude and respect.so this is a shout out to ALLAN and all they good pepole over at AVATAR its refreshing to know there is still old school care out there THANK YOU !!!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value

Pros: Did a bit of research before purchasing and this computer for me gave the most bang for my buck. You can find less expensive rigs, but after reviewing this one down to component level this one seemed right for the money I was willing to spend. Toss in a free 23" monitor and I couldn't pass it up. It's very quiet, fast and very good graphics (EvE on highest setting, 58 fps). Unit came packaged very well and I've had not one troubling issue.

Cons: Keyboard is cheap but funtional and the rig requires a DVI output to function, not VGA. For the couple of bucks it would have cost, toss in a DVI to VGA adapter and charge an extra $5 and I would not have had to run out and buy one. Free monitor came with VGA cable only.

Other Thoughts: Unit is great and the only thing that stuck in my craw was lack of DVI cable or adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy for the serious gamer.

Pros: This computer can handle WoW at it's highest settings with no effort. Very fast in everyday tasks. It's a very big tower so you'll need to make room.

Cons: The free monitor is going to need a DVI cable to work with this computer. They run about $20 at Best Buy etc.....

Other Thoughts: I'm really impressed so far.
