3 out of 5 eggsAfter running it for nearly 3 years...

Pros: - Solidly built tower with some SERIOUS room for upgrades!
- Fairly quiet system (more noticeable during taxing periods, but that could also be the video card fan running hard as well)
- Fired right up without issues!
- So far it is handling Windows 10 pretty well. I've had 7, 8 (default), and 10 on it and haven't had too many issues regarding the OS
- Plenty of USB 3.0 ports
- Has endured many moves. Not too heavy!
- 650w power supply is almost begging for upgrades

Cons: - FM2 was a bad risk
- Crummy integrated GFX card. Supposedly works well simultaneously with other GFX cards (forgot the specifics) but according to the tests I've seen, I should have just spent the extra money on a better GPU
- PCI Express 2.0 x16 is the best slot in the mobo

Other Thoughts: I covered the wickedly bright LED in the front of the computer
This was a gamble in regards to the socket type / CPU. While the CPU Isn't bad, it can't keep up with anything that is coming out right now. For me to get 3 years out of the CPU isn't too terrible, but I would rather have the option to just get a new CPU and GPU rather than replace the whole board, which is what I'm going to have to do.

Overall, money (semi) poorly spent. I got a nice case, internal SSD, PSU, and that's...about it. Not worth $989 :\

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible specs for the money

Pros: Pros are, it's pre-built and it looks fine.

Cons: PC is way too overpriced to only have an APU, 16GB of RAM and a 7770.

$900 can get so much more by building it yourself.

1 out of 5 eggsLess than auspicious continuance... oy...

Pros: yeap... its still puuuurty. I gotta admit, its fast. /nodnodnod

Cons: Im starting to get aggravated here...
#1 - I have tried for the last week to reach customer support. When you dial the number, it rings four times, then goes to a message that says, "You have reached extension... we are unable to answer your call at this time. Please leave a message and we will get back to you." Yeap, no extension, or mention that your calling the tech support number. I call this number three times a day for the last six days. NO reply has been forthcoming. I leave my return number at the start of the message and the end.
#2 - Tried to access tech support via the website, the page does not actually exist, errors out immediately after you click the option.
#3 - Tried to send communication via the website to tech support, their form will not complete.

Other Thoughts: Other thoughts: Out of desperation ive been trying to fix my issues on my own, though apparently to diagnose COMPLETELY the front audio ports issue, im going to have to open the case and according to the nifty sticker that will invalidate/void my warranty so im still putting this off. After much research and some blatant hopefulness when trying different things I FINALLY have access to my 1T drive. It was physically installed but never "Managed" by win8. (This should have been done in factory... I mean, why install the darn thing if your not gonna make it available to a new user? In regards to the core #2/#3 heat issues, im STILL trying to reach tech support.
I am VERY not happy and getting more unhappy as im finding things that are wrong with this system. New egg policy states that I can only return this system for a refund (to get a different brand!!!) within 30 days if UNOPENED... obviously that's a no-go. Or REPLACEMENT with the same brand within that 30 days. I am very much NOT wanting this brand, but if I can not reach tech support in the next five days, im going to run out of choices. I am so frustrated. =(

4 out of 5 eggsOh c'mon!

Pros: Still is the most silent system I've EVER been around including rack-systems with the fans off (think: click, click, thunk) No Bloatware, Halleluja! ... oh yea, and its still puuuuurty =)

Cons: Minor annoyance first, front audio jacks are not working. Win 8 sees them, drivers report everythings hunky-dory, but will not override speakers when plugged in nor do anything but send an annoying hum to the headset. Gonna wipe the driver and inf files related and hope for the best as the hardware IS seen... /assumes the oh-please position.
BIGGER annoyance... im learning to loathe win8... Live tiles make me talk to myself and in four letter code words. /growl Ive managed to simulate win7 for the most part but of course, my start button is the live tiles screen which brings me right back around to the four letter words. So yea... its a preference, but I definitely most assuredly do NOT like how much FURTHER we are buffered from the decision making underbelly of the OS. Meh, maybe I can find a workaround of some sort, or just go backwards to 7, but that really gets me nowhere but dusty :D

Other Thoughts: okay... Considering the day before xmas this system was listed as sold out, I simply can not be the only person to have purchased this system... nor the only person with an opinion. Please, help me out here, gimmie your opinion on your system. Every computer put together has its own personality issues no matter how exactly all components and software are matched. I could simply have the quarter horse (known for being stubborn and opinionated) model =)

1 out of 5 eggsHurm... this makes me itch....

Pros: very very very ... did I say very? ... =) quiet system unless you do like I do and monkey with the fans to turn them on high. Im actually impressed with how quite it is.
Very pretty case and light /nodnodnod pretty...

Cons: 1tb drive is unreachable as well as not operating in raid (where the system sees the ssd but loads the data portions to the hdd) yea... not happening. Drive is completely unreachable though in device manager it is visible and operating properly... supposedly. No bloat ware! Now for an inexperienced user, might leave ya feeling a bit at loose ends, but for an experienced user, we could hug the person who made that decision... maybe even a big ole' kiss on top of it!

Other Thoughts: Keep in mind im beating my head against my desk as I type this as I had such high hopes and now im paying for them. As for the above, yes, checked cables, yes replaced cables, yes verified in bios, verified in POST, verified in device manager, verified there's not one lick of data on that 100% available (reported by AIDA) HDD. Leaving this issue behind (my heads getting sore... =]) There's the fact that when I got the box I had a heart attack... The outter box from Avatar had completely wrong and lesser stats, thank goodness it WAS physically what I bought even though the box said otherwise. Soooooh... I shall be figuring out how to call them and hopefully being a reasonable human being, beg them to figure out something I didn't do to fix the hdd issue. Oh yea, core#3 and core#4 run double the temp as 1&2 so im gonna ask about that. Its low temp, so its really not anything that worries me. Oh~! Thought of another pro! Seriously Look up~! okay... so long and short are above, i'll update later cause im still the only person blabbing on this system. =) Happy Nerd Holidays y'all!

4 out of 5 eggsTakin' a chance...

Pros: Anxious "Other-thoughts" =)

Cons: Anxious "Other-thoughts" =)

Other Thoughts: The system is on its way to me now, somewhere leaving california. I am taking a huge chance on this system and I hope it works well :) I will most definitely update and give a true pro/con/thoughts when I get my grubby lil' hands on it :D I did a lot of research before purchase and even more after. I am hesitant about AMD processors as I have always been an Intel girl, heck... worked for them at one point :D I play MMO's and do a lot of graphic manipulation and from my research, this system rates fairly well specificly in graphic intensive games. Not so much in the pure power arena though =( I am hoping the SSD/16GB 1600mhz ram will make the all important "Feel" difference in the middle of say... a 20 person raid... graphics at least medium, 1920X1080. Cross your fingers for me and readme day after tomorrow-ish :D
