5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value!

Pros: All name brand components, no generics. Western Digital HD, Green Bronze +80 PSU, GeForce GPU, Gigabyte MBoard, Intel Processor, Kingston HyperX Blu Ram, two 'large' push/pull fans (besides GPU, CPU, and PSU fans) and InWin case. Also comes with recovery disc! Remember those? Wiring is well done also.

Cons: No cons. I received everything as ordered, add-ons are up to me. wi-fi etc. Personally, I would have rather had Win7 because Win8 is like what Vista was to XP... too many added stuff/apps I have no use for (bloat). Microsoft tries to please everyone for every situation, thus pleasing no one.

Other Thoughts: I am very pleased with this computer. You would be hard pressed to build this one for $100 less, and the warranty/peace of mind, is worth that alone. Did I mention recovery disc? I couldn't find the Win* activation code (sticker on left side of case, duh), so I called AVATAR and a person picked up the phone! A person who actually works there! He quickly resolved my oversight and told me to feel free to call with any problems. I hope I have none, but it seems that this company has done it's part quality wise, so it's up to the parts themselves to hold up. Plays FarCry3, Crysis 1 & 2, Battlefield 3, etc. on 1440 res., med. settings at about 30-45+ FPS easily. 1280 res. med/high settings gets you 40-55+ fps. Highest res 1920 X 1080 + highest settings on everything, won't give over 15-25 FPS. I'm very happy with the GTX 650 and it's got lots of headroom for overclock. (could be bumped to 650ti status easily.) But I will probably get a GTX 660 OC anyway and still have a great setup for less than other similar bargain brands that use generics when they can.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bought this for my son who does PC gaming but mostly just League of Legends. His old box was pretty weak, slowish core 2 duo, weak vid card, cheap RAM. This thing screams in comparison. I've had zero issues with anything about this box so far. Good buy for the price, easier on me than searching for parts and building it myself. I'd build my own for me or for a really high end box, but for a complete this is fine. The case and lights are cool looking without being ugly or obnoxious. Not loud at all.

Cons: I don't overclock, stock cooling is sufficient thus far. You might need more fans if you OC. The included mouse and keyboard are crappier low end Logictech. They work ok, but probably aren't what most gamers expect. This isn't surprising though, you don't get high end peripherals with these complete systems.

5 out of 5 eggsPowerful Computer

Pros: Lots of bang for your buck! The computer runs like a dream. I really enjoy the look of it as well. I tried Skyrim on Ultrahigh graphics and it ran smooth as butter. Very quiet PC as well. It was also packed very nicely. It had these foam bricks holding it in place.

Cons: Windows 8 product key was on the side of the tower. They should have another copy of the product key in a booklet or something I can hold. Also, the delivery was kinda weird. Some people in a pickup truck dropped it off and knocked but by the time I got to the door, they had put it down into the snow and were starting to drive off. It was shipped via FedEx and somehow got delivered in a regular pick up truck by people wearing regular clothes. I saw no FedEx symbol on the truck or the people.

1 out of 5 eggsDud

Pros: It is a quite functional paperweight

Cons: It doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: Got the PC, took it out of the box, plugged it in, turned it on, it told me the Windows partition was corrupt and shut down, now refuses to turn back on.

5 out of 5 eggsA lot of computing power for the price.

Pros: You get alot of computing power compared to other PC's in it's price range. It's fast and quiet. Boots incredibly fast. Great performance in handling video editing tasks and online gaming.

Cons: None. I knew what I was buying. If your a gamer upgrade your keyboard and mouse, system comes with a basic mouse and keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I did a lot of research; comparing gaming PC’s from different vendors, finding this system to offer a lot of performance for the money. Other vendors would offer less in one or more category such as less RAM, lower quality graphic card, lower performance CPU, less hard drive space or smaller power supply for the same price of the Avatar Gaming i7-37GT Desktop. You would have to spend $200 or more to get a comparable system.
My biggest concern was the graphic card in terms of running the latest games. I was happy to see the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 had no problem running RIFT and it’s frame rate of 32 fps at the capital city, not 50 or 60 fps but very nice with no lag time compared to my old Geforce Ti 560 which was producing 8fps and lagging. I use this computer for video editing and online gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: For those of you on a budget and you're looking for something that will smash through the latest games, this is the total package. I'm adding another 16gb of ram for a total of 32gb (if you add more ram, wait until you receive the computer to see what brand they actually installed so you can complete a full set of likewise modules) I also installed my own sound card for my home theater system and had to move the video card down to the secondary PCI-e slot, otherwise the sound card would have blocked the dual slot cooling fan on the video card.

The case runs extremely quiet...I haven't noticed any excessive fan noise while I play BF3 on ultra settings getting around 160+ FPS while peeling the paint off the walls with the exploding surround system (LOL).

Would recommend adding a couple more 120mm case fans (comes with one and can hold 5 total along with one 80 mm in the back) for the "just in case you try to overload your system) protection...other than that, it runs flawlessly.

WIN 8 verification went smooth, packaging was perfect and the delivery was exceptionally fast (bought @ 8pm on 1/31 and received @ 3:15pm on 2/1).

Cons: Built-In wireless would have been nice, but otherwise not a deal breaker for me.

Other Thoughts: I may have been the exception...but this entire process has been amazing from start to finish. Would highly recommend this system and NewEgg to all my friends.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Desktop for the price

Pros: Quiet machine even when running higher performance games. The case looks great. Whenever I want to upgrade the ram (if I want to) I can because of the extra slots available. There is a good amount of space within the computer itself for upgrades when needed. Overall a very good desktop with amazing performance.

Cons: Does not come with a built-in wireless card so I had to go buy one at my local electronic store for around 20-30 bucks. I also could not get the Windows 8 activation to work for some reason.

Other Thoughts: Overall an amazing computer
