4 out of 5 eggs5/5 now that I cooled it down

Pros: Good performance for the price point. English speaking manufacturer tech support.

Cons: Weak CPU cooler

Other Thoughts: I purchased this PC to replace my aged 2007 model from another manufacturer, which treated me well but was, well, aged. I am not a power user or a gamer but I do some light photo and video editing so a bit of performance is in order. This machine has delivered that nicely. Other reviews I read noted overheating problems so I purchased this machine suspecting a cooler upgrade may be in order. Early on, it seemed ok but after about 6 months I started to SMELL heat and it started locking up. Suspecting a power surge damaged PSU (my local power company is terrible), I replaced the PSU. While I was at it I added an additional case fan and regreased the CPU cooler, while noting that it indeed seemed on the small side. During this process I started monitoring temps. I was hitting temps in the 70C range just checking emails! I bit the bullet for a Hyper 212 EVO cooler and installed it yesterday. I processed some GoPro video which runs the CPU at nearly 100% and the highest of the 3 CPU sensors said 50C after 5 minutes. I can live with that, and I'm running 34C as I type this. If I was to order this machine again I'd order it WITH an vastly upgraded cooler. That is my only gripe though. I now anticipate a few years of good use out of this machine.

One more quick note: I did have one minor issue getting the Windows license to work. Called the manufacturer and got an honest to goodness English speaking human on the line quite quickly. Another HUGE pro for me!

5 out of 5 eggsAvatar Gaming Computer

Pros: This computer is a gaming PC right out of the box as advertised. It plays games such as Skyrim, GTA IV, borderlands 2, and more games flawlessly from the last generation on high quality. The case is very spacious for plenty of upgrades, plus there is plenty of ventilation for cooling. The 1 TB hard drive will harbor all of the games you could want. Nothing was wrong with it on arrival and I have had it for a little over a month now with very few issues.

Cons: Although this computer is a beast for its price one should be aware that there are a few issues.

1) the power supply, being 450 watts, is a bit small but it does well for the specs that come with the computer.

2) If you are looking to play games that are going to be released in the next few years and have beautiful quality you might want to look at upgrading the GPU and power supply. It would probably be cheaper just to look at another machine in that case though.

3) The stock CPU fan is incredibly noisy and only continues to worsen after a month. Once the PC is powered on it is accompanied by a loud, buzzing, vibrating noise. After about a minute the noise decreases slightly but still leaves you feeling like you're sitting next to the AC unit. I am replacing mine which should fix that issue.

4) Just a random con that affects absolutely nothing, but the two lights on the front are incredibly bright and may blind you if you plan on lots of night play. It's not a con so much as an observation really.

Other Thoughts: Overall this machine is perfect for those who desire to play all of the fantastic games that have come out in the past and pay a great price for it! The few cons noted can easily be fixed if desired, but for the price everything seems pretty on par. I love this PC and I am sure that others will too. Happy Gaming!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent startup for the price

Pros: A very decent package which will allow you to enjoy most of your games on High graphics settings. Very easy to upgrade with lots of spare room in the case.

Cons: Will need to upgrade for any next gen games coming out (2014-2015). Specifically the power supply i found was very lacking as well as the graphics card.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Bad

Pros: The machine worked for six months after purchase and I was able to run my games on full spec.

Cons: The CPU crashed and customer service never helped me even though I have a one year warranty they gave me the runaround about sending me an order ticket which they refused to send so I could never get serviced. Some days the customer service line is down and most days they never respond to customer service calls and when they do they will keep playing a game with you about an order ticket until you finally give up on being serviced.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this machine because you'll never get help if it breaks this is an immoral company.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Still runs as good as new, even after almost a year of owning it. Never had one single problem with it. Ever.
Games like planetside 2, dayz standalone, eurotruck simulator 2 all run on high with no problems. I really, like REALLY love this rig and is the best pc investment i have made.
Boots up in 10 seconds.
Handles my editing software flawlessly.
If it was soft and squishy i would give it a hug.
Sure there are better rigs out there, but not for the price. And for a casual gamer like me this handles everything i throw at it and is the perfect machine for what i need it for.

Cons: Only 2 usb ports on the front, not a big issue since theres more in the back, but its kind of annoying

5 out of 5 eggsreliable computer

Pros: bought this machine for a month now and mostly been using only for editing and burning avchd home movies using my canon hd 10850p camera.i am using cyberlink power director 11 ultimate software for editing and installed LG GGW-H20L super multii-blue-bluray player for burning using cyberlink power dvd ultra 13 to support the lg burner. so far i have edited around ten avchd movies running between ten and twenty minutes per movies using sony dvd -r blank disc. burning a ten minute movie takes about 20 minutes. so far i am pretty happy with this machine because its really performing well beyond my expectations.

Cons: fan a little bit noisy but still acceptable.

2 out of 5 eggsSeen better deals

Pros: It is a great computer for simple gaming and home activity. Runs fast, always has started right up, no crashes (so far).
I do like the computer but it will need upgrades.

Cons: Within 6-8 months the power supply got loud, within a year the computer has 3 games installed and cannot play any of them near a high quality without problems (Wow, NeverWinter, and Combat arms). Also, now the front fan has become super loud, I clean it once a month so no its not the dust. I would not buy this computer the second time around. I will probably need to replace the power supply within the next few months along with the fan.

Other Thoughts: I knew i should have stayed away when i seen AMD. Good luck to anyone who buys this machine.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your money!

Pros: It's cheap.

Cons: I've had this machine for just over a month now. The manufacture refers to this as a gaming PC. Out of the box i couldn't even play Team Fortress 2, an old game which ran fine on my old (8 years) PC (dual core, 256mb video card). I was running at 10 fps on this one out of the box (unplayable). I ended up buying a $200 video card to replace the one which came with this machine. If you plan to play any games made in the last decade, you'll need to do the same when you get this PC. Consider that in the pricing by adding in an additional $100-$200.

In addition to the above, the USB ports are pretty much unusable on the front and the ones on the back are about the same. I have to constantly wiggle my wireless keyboard connector to get it to work. Again, this works fine on my old Dell.

And lastly, the sound on the motherboard failed at just over a month in. This was going to be the final straw, but unfortunately, i'm just past the month return period.

I'll probably end up having to replace the motherboard. It looks as though i'm pretty much going to end up gutting this machine and rebuilding most of it. It's beginning to look like i just spent $500 for a PC case.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Fast and packs a punch right out of the box. Easy to set up, Windows 8 has been ok so far, I haven't seen any of the issues that people complain about. I actually kind of like Win8. Quiet overall which is a huge deal for me. Plays GW2 on high settings; however, I switch it to low settings during WvW due to FPS lag. Some reviewers are complaining about BSOD but I have yet to have this happen to mine.

Cons: Fan died almost a week after I had it. High CPU temperature kept shutting off PC. Of course since I live out in the boonies it takes a while to get a replacement fan. Another issue I've noticed is that when I wake it up from sleep mode, it does not recognize one of my screens even though it did before I put it in sleep mode. Unplugging the power seems to fix it. Just a minor issue but since I usually always leave it on to get to homework, work, and gaming it can get annoying.

Other Thoughts: Overall, loving it.
