OK with some reservations
Pros: Good box for the $; tough to find similar CPU/HD Space/Ram without spending a fair bit more. Have a MS volume license, so just installed WIN7PRO - thus no worries about the installed OS. HD4000 graphics work plenty well for the intended use as a work desktop with a 27" 1080P IPS monitor.
Cons: One main one; the specs list the HDD interface as SATA III, but it is NOT. The installed HD is a SATA III drive, but the Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2H Mobo only has 4 SATA II ports. Need to fix that, Newegg! Would have been nice to have USB 3.0 in the front panel as well, but that's fixable. The MB is not.
Other Thoughts: Would have been 4 stars with true SATA III as advertised. 5 with USB 3.0 and 6 with WIN7PRO installed.

Home BASIC OS, but Hardware Specs make up for it
Pros: Core i7 w/3.9GHz Turbo (a few don't have Turbo Mode so it should be mentioned). Has both Gigabit wired NIC and a B/G/N Wireless with great range (thanks to the type N). Intel 4000 on-board graphics are better than I thought they would be! First time I have used them and they look good and are VERY snappy (they test out like your 75 graphics card!)!
Cons: Comes w/ Windows 7 HOME BASIC (not starter, or standard or deluxe). NewEgg Dudes and Duddettes, you need to add the words "HOME BASIC" in the Operating System Description! It should REALLY come with Windows 7 - 64 bit PRO, even if they have to jack the price up on it by $70 or $80. I read somewhere the OS would qualify for the $82 online upgrade to Win-7 Pro 64. IT DOES NOT. Believe me, I tried (I got 8 of these units). They should not be classified as a Business Unit with Win 7 HOME BASIC on it. Did I repeat myself? Sorry. It is still a decent deal but you MUST spend more.
Other Thoughts: Western Digital 7200 RPM Disk! ASUS Micro MOBO! ALL top shelf components! Frankly, I was expecting less. So that was a nice surprise to counter the shock of finding WIN 7 HOME BASIC on a "Business class" machine. HOME BASIC 64 can't be upgraded online except to buy a FULL License pack (Not sure why - we tried!). Memory: If you want to take it up to 16 - you have to do it with 2 - 8s with only 2 slots. They can change brands of hardware, but I HOPE they don't. I now have 8 of these Desktop units. Newegg needs to add the word HOME BASIC in the description... ok?
