4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Great components inside. Corsair RAM with heat spreaders, The MSI LGA 2011 motherboard is excellent, lots of high end features. The case is nice, clean build inside with all wires routed neatly.

Cons: Right out of the box I ran Prime95 and discovered that it has one bad stick of ram. Not a deal breaker, it happens. I have contacted Avatar to see what kind of response I get. If they don't respond then I may have to exchange this system for another

If you look up reviews of this case, there are some issues with the motherboard side panel being hard to put back on. I have not tried taking it off but i did notice the panel will not fit flush with the case no matter how much i push on it. I will try to reseat it report back here again.

Other Thoughts: Overall, for the price, you get a great pc. SandyBridge-E platform should last me for a while, and when I'm ready to upgrade, i'll just drop in a 6 or 8 core cpu in and add some more ram.

4 out of 5 eggsNice enough

Pros: Roomy interior, decent enough wire management. Honestly, I am overall happy with the combination of parts and the case. I have minor complaints, sure, but the case itself is nice enough.

Over all I recommend it.

Cons: --I'm not a fan of the hard drive bay. It seems shoddy at best.
--The hard drive racks and the hard drive were crooked in the hard drive bay upon arrival? Was just odd.
--The motherboard uses sideway esata, which I find are a pain in the *** to work with but at least this case is built for it and you can actually get to them.
--The power supply doesn't have enough outgoing cables =/. I only have one for my hard drives so it's a tight fit.
--I'm not a huge fan of hard drive bays that are perpendicular to the case's front panel. Easier to work with, sure, but much more of a pain in the *** to close the side.
--You effectively have to remove both side panels to insert a hard drive; the bay has the wires on one side but the insertion of hard drives on the other.
--Does not have a fan for the hard drives? Mine aren't cooling at all because, you know, no cooling there. They'll start at 35C on boot but slowly rise to 42 where they'll stay, but they heat up to 50c pretty quickly. The front panel is easy enough to take off so I'm adding a fan when my next order gets here.

Other Thoughts: I mentioned the drives being in weird, and also at least one thing wasn't plugged in when I first opened it to check the layout. This is a nice pc if you're too lazy to build one but I'd still recommend popping it open to verify everything is in order, though I'd say that for anything.

I'm replacing the powersupply at some point because it doesn't seem like a great quality one. It'll do for sure but I have a much higher quality one sitting in my closet, just feeling too lazy to put it in right now.
