2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Solid build would be hard to do for the price i got it at!

Cons: I have been having ntohing but problems with the computer.
First) maybe two months into owning it the computer failed, spent at least 20 hours diagnosing it ran everything possible. Only to discover the wirring to the motherboard was done to tightly which resulting in the power supply cord not being completey in its slot. This cause a drain in power to the mother board. Simple fix overall but annoying none the less.
Second) Hard Drive failed, and the CD rom drive was not able to recognize the provided start up disk. Best guess, its delaying start up meant it was being read after boot up -.-... Left me needing to borrow a friends computer to whipe my harddrive. Very annoying.
Third) Hard drive has failed again.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Value

Pros: - You would have a hard time building this system for the cost of this.
- Runs cool and quiet
- Can run all new titles well (BF4 medium at around 60fps)

Cons: Can't ask for more.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: I got it as an open box item at a significant discount. I had priced out an inexpensive gaming build with an FX-6300 and an HD7790 and my build was pricier than what I paid for this. Good cable management and airflow and it was nice to just plug it in and turn it on (it's been a long time since I did that for a new computer). I added additional RAM but other than that I haven't done anything to it. SWTOR, X-COM, and CIV 5 all run no prob on highest settings in 1080p.

Cons: This is the only reason for four stars - Mine was an open box, so that may be why, but it came with Windows not yet activated and Windows stated that the product key was blocked when I tried to activate.

At first I was very upset, but I reformatted, re-installed Windows 8, and used the OEM product key and it worked and activated fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat PC

Pros: Good price
Cool light in front with fan
Stays cool
Runs games good

Cons: Windows 8
Power supply is not a very good one but easy to upgrade

Other Thoughts: This is my first purchase from Avatar so I was not sure what to expect. I would stay away from ASUS as they have very bad customer service. They would not help me at all and did not know what upgraded I could get. Talked to an Avatar person and he gave me links to everything I need! Avatar has very good support and will help you with any of your upgrade needs. Computer is awesome and working perfect! Thanks!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat PC

Pros: Decent GPU/CPU
Nice case with neon light on front
Runs games great
Probably many more

Cons: Windows 8
Cheap 450 watt PSU but no big deal since can upgrade
All for now

Other Thoughts: This pc plays Diablo 3 with 130+ fps with some high settings on, shadows off, in 1080p resolution. Plan on upgrading the PSU as it is a cheap one but have not had any problems yet!

5 out of 5 eggs100% Satisfied

Pros: I wanted to buy a new computer, mine was 6 years old. I wanted a mid level gaming computer. In the past I have played most game on the console (XBox 360). Not wanting to purchase one of the next generation consoles (Xbox One or PS4) I wanted something that would last another 4+ years as well as allow me to play relatively demanding graphical games. I found that this accomplished my goals but wasn't a wallet buster.

1. Rocks League of Legends, not that it is a demanding game. I was able to watch Netflix on one monitor and play LoL on the other without any issues.
-Note: I did have to put LoL into full screen windowed mode. For some reason at full screen it was causing the video on the other monitor to be choppy.

2. I thought I wasn't going to like Windows 8 but I think a few loud complainers have given it a bad name. I find that at the very least I don't mind it and possibly enjoy it more.

3. I haven't found any games/software that have had any compatibility problems. I haven't tried any emulators as of writing this review. Only League of Legends, Diablo III (Games)/ Eclipse IDE, Lightworks, Audacity (Software). I do some software development at home and it does a good job of launching my android emulators and building my workspace. At least as good as my work computer (i7 w/ 16GB of Ram).

4. I was a little concerned about the lack of a side fan, but I haven't seen any issues with cooling or airflow. I have mine in the computer cabinet in my desk and leave the door open when its running(which is pretty much always).

Cons: I wish there was a side fan on the case but haven't seen any issues there so far and it is pretty simple to order one for cheap and simple to install. Other than that I have no complaints about the performance

Other Thoughts: Most of the time I think a lot of people overkill their computer for what they need. I expect to be able to play current games at relatively high graphic setting for at least 2 years. After that I can't be sure. This computer was a nice upper-mid level computer and fits my needs great.

3 out of 5 eggsLooked Promising, But

Pros: Well ventilated case, cool lights, driver/recovery discs included, quiet from what I can tell, another slot to upgrade RAM.

Keyboard & Mouse included: They are extremely basic and cheap, but I am not complaining. They would serve their purpose to type and click -what more would you need?

Cons: Upon doing nothing more than simply opening the box, and connecting cables: USB Keyboard, USB Mouse, HDMI cable, and power cord, I was shown nothing but a black screen. My monitor never even detected a signal from the tower. The GPU was DOA (dead on arrival). Fan wasn't spinning on the GPU, and even made sure it was connected properly to the PSU. IN ADDITION, what they don't tell you (and what I had to learn from AVATAR Tech Support) on initial start up, is if you don't complete Windows 8 setup and proceed to shut the unit off, your initial install will be thrown into a LOOP (which you can't get out of) and forget about fixing it with the recovery disc because Windows 8 doesn't let you boot from your CD-ROM drive.

Overall, I didn't get to see a single loading screen, boot screen, or BIOS screen at all. No image was displayed on the screen at all.

No Wireless Network card (a purchase I'd prefer to do w/o)

Other Thoughts: Newegg:

I could not RMA online. It said my product was ineligible for RMA. I didn't quite agree with that, so I got on the line with customer support and spoke with Ceceli. She was straightforward, to the point, and got me on track with my RMA in a matter of minutes. I had my return labels and RMA in the system shortly thereafter. I understand these things happen, but it does suck quite a bit when you buy an item, and pay for Overnight Express shipping (I'll leave the cost for you to find out on your own) and have to send it back to wait even longer.

However, that said, Newegg reciprocated that process for me, and when the item is shipped back via UPS Ground, they will do their thing with it and hopefully issue a REPLACEMENT with the same shipping method I rightly paid for.

Their customer support is excellent, I'm sure I just happened to come across a lemon in the bunch, and hopefully this issue is solved. This is my first ever Newegg purchase, and I would buy from Newegg again.

Avatar Tech Support:
In order to troubleshoot my issues, and in an attempt to avoid an RMA, I called Avatar Tech Support and was put on the phone with Chris. He was extremely helpful, patient, and rather fun to troubleshoot with. He was the one who helped diagnose my issue as being hardware related -and recommended an RMA through Newegg.

Situations like these happen, and Avatar USA was more than willing to help me out in anyway possible.

Judging from what I was able to physically tell, it was a good machine, and I would also purchase from Avatar again in the future.

5 stars for both Newegg and Avatar customer support.

Thank you Chris and Ceceli for assisting me with my issue. 3/5 Eggs OVERALL strictly due to the shipping/waiting issues.

Will update as soon as I can get a working unit! :)
