5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!!

Pros: There is a lot of pros:
- Fast, I mean really fast.
- Also fast to install, it's a *plug and play* (You need to activate Windows 8.1, that take 1-2 minutes max.)
- Lot of place to upgrade, but no need of it for the moment, maybe a SDD...
- Good cooling, there is 4-5 fans if I can count and there is place to double that number! No water cooling but it is not a big deal, I prefer air cooling to be honest..
- The case is huge
- 16 Gig of ram, not a necessity but that is pretty cool
- I've played on this computer around 6-8 hours no-stop on Bioshock Infinite on max setting, and the case is cold
- For what you get, I think the price is too low. I mean that include custom fee and other fee, and I know by the past it is like 150-200$ / 1000$ value. But that is included in the price. Also, I take *normal* shipping and get my ring from NJ/USA to Canada in like 3 days.
-Windows 8.1, I wasn't sure where to put it (pros or cons) but at the end I like it. This IS the HARDEST Windows to understand at first contact, but that is kinda interesting.
-Keyboard/mouse are fully working
-Power supplies. Normally it's the first thing to change if you don't want your computer to burn. This is a good PSU, and no need to change it.

Cons: For the moment, there is two cons (I'll update if I found more):

- The noise of the fan. I didn't remove an egg for that because there is 4-5 fans as I said before and you can expect some noise and for that price... But I think that need to be said as a cons.

- This is NOT a 8-cores CPU, but a 4 cores that make a 8 cores *virtually*. But that already been said so it wasn't a surprise.

Other Thoughts: Sorry for my bad English, I'm French.

Also, I think this is a good computer. I was looking for around 6-7 months for computer and I found this. It is not the better of all, but at this price it is amazing.

Note: I own this computer for only 48h at the moment, I'll do another review if there is a need to.

2 out of 5 eggsShowed a lot of potential.

Pros: -For its price, it was a fast computer with what appeared to be a lot of potential for upgrading. Being shipped with a 760 GTX and 16GB memory, it's certainly a powerhouse.
-It was amazingly cooled and had a lot of breathing space, and it definitely has a beautiful case. Slick design and lighting for those who enjoy some eye candy.

Cons: (Was not able to build up a strong list after immediate failure; see other thoughts.)

Other Thoughts: -MSI GTX 760 dead with screen artifacting within the first hour after a reboot from doing nothing but idling on desktop. No games ran, no stress testing. Case was not opened prior to usage.
-CPU itself froze and crashed for seemingly no reason while at idle while reading an article.
-AMD processors seem to have a lot of hassle involved, so prior research is certainly necessary.
-(Minor) Keyboard is non-functional upon arrival, broken space key.

It seemed like a wonderful system. 4 memory ports, 2 PCI slots, strong power supply, excellent case cooling (however the stock processor fan seemed inadequate and loud), and it came with a ton of potential. I was disappointed to have had it go so poorly in the end.

I've begun an RMA painlessly. NewEgg was very helpful and kind. (In progress.)

5 out of 5 eggsA must Buy

Pros: This is a great rig for gaming. The Video Card is a power house. Windows 8 does take a little bit to get use to but I kinda like it not as much as 7 but enough not to down grade.

Cons: Wish side window wasn't tinted and it had more lights.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Started right up fast.
Processor was fast.
Started playing games and it looked great but then......

Cons: Once I started playing LOTRO (5+ year old game so graphics not that intense) I had a number of problems.
The fan would get really loud (which I expected from reading the reviews) but then it would get even louder and soon after the computer would just turn off. I would try to restart it but it wouldn't turn back on for a few minutes. I thought maybe the fans weren't running below but the case wasn't hot at all. This happened a few times and so I had to send it back.

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure if this was the result of a bad card, fans, cpu, or what but I was disappointed. A friend of mine has an Avatar he got on Newegg and he loves it, I've jammed on it a few times and it runs great but no such luck for me. I can't blame Avatar for a faulty part though, so hopefully the next one will work.

5 out of 5 eggsMy baby

Pros: Everything about this pc is amazing and for a good price. I got this after my laptop kicked the bucket. I have been able to run every game I have tried on it on max since I got it with frames ranging between 40-60fps, this includes; The Witcher 2, Bioshock infinite, Battlefield 3, Tomb raider, and a few others.

Cons: I'm not really a fan of the fact that the side window tinted because the case doesn't have enough lighting to show off the insides. There was also some noise from the side panel when the fans were spinning fast but was easily fix by a small piece of foam.

Other Thoughts: Love this computer I don't regret anything about purchase amd would recommend this pc to others.

4 out of 5 eggsVery satisfied thus far

Pros: The system is fast. Very fast. For gaming? I just came out of Deus Ex: HR using 3 monitors on Nvidia's Surround Display, on max settings, with no problems. The case is very spacious and easy to add a drive into as well. It becomes a screamer with a 30 Gb SSD added as the Windows Swapfile/Cache space.

Cons: The hard drive is slow by how windows sees it. 5.9 on the index, while everything else is 7.9 - 8.1. It made a slight hiccup to an otherwise great day, seeing that score.

Also, the CPU cooler is...adequate. It shows temps running 60c+ while in the game above and sounds like a small engine going to full power for the fan itself. I'll be putting a Corsair liquid system on tomorrow though, so it's a short term issue. I had expected to replace the cooler before it arrived, so not a hardship....but that buzz saw noise cost 1 egg. It was going into high speed at times during Windows Update, not just a game. I've never heard a CPU fan that loud.

Other Thoughts: First impressions? I figured I'd take a chance with a name I wasn't personally familiar with in computer builds, and I'm very glad I did. It's physically solid and what arrived is precisely what is pictured, inside and out. In every way. What more can one ask for? Assuming nothing unexpected arises? I'll certainly be buying my next system through Avatar.

3 out of 5 eggsAmazing! [hopefully]

Pros: Was a breeze to set up, effortless and pain free. Graphics drivers, a few core programs and I was giddy as a schoolgirl.

Ran everything perfectly, I purchased a very nice 23.7' monitor and while running at my systems max resolution had no noticeable FPS drop in any of several games.

Was very quiet unless running something recent at the higher graphical settings, a huge plus for me as the noise is bothersome.

Cons: Windows 8; was strange at first and am still getting used to home screen.

The few issues eventually leading to an RMA.
See: Other Thoughts

Other Thoughts: Had a few issues leading to an RMA;
Had one random shutdown on the second day of ownership, no blue screen or error message, only the solitary beep of my system booting.
I asked Google and was advised of event viewer in Windows-My untrained eyes saw nothing and I closed the program, vowing to research more.
The second issue came into play after a long session of Battlefield 3, I had just exited and loaded into a different game when my system shut down, I immediately placed my hand over the top of my case, the fan was blowing warm air. I chalked it as me playing to long and left the system alone.
After these two incidents the system ran like a dream. I was more thoughtful of where I placed my graphics sliders and it seemed to reward me with undisturbed gaming sessions. Happy, I took ease.
So on Friday, after getting home from a doctors apt, I was scared when I attempted to boot my system only to have my monitor read no input. I tried with another monitor to the same end.

After a pain less call with NewEgg support I have since begun my RMA. Was very excited by how quickly I received the information and was able to get under way. [In progress]

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy!

Pros: This is a fast and powerful machine! It runs all of my games on high/ultra high settings. It has plenty of space for all my games, and still has lots of space to spare! I have this HDMI to my monitor and bought a surround sound speaker system that goes great! If you're looking for a great gaming machine without breaking the bank too much, this is a great buy.

Cons: I've been using Windows since Windows98, and Windows 8 is probably the most challenging one so far for me to get used to or to learn. It's different not having the Windows start button on the bottom corner, and a lot of the applications run like they're on a tablet or something like that. It'll definitely take some getting used to if you're used to how XP/Vista/7 ran.

The PC runs a little loud sometimes. It has 4 fans (if I counted correctly) throughout the rig, which is great for keeping it cool when it's under pressure, but it can get loud depending on the game/FPS/etc. It typically runs pretty quiet most of the time, but every now and again you'll be taking off to the Moon.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great machine. It plays all my games great, has plenty of power and space for all my other non-gaming needs. If you are patient with Windows 8 and can see past the occasional loudness of the fans during intense gaming, this is a great purchase for any gamer.
