5 out of 5 eggsGreat all around

Pros: Small, self-contained (does not rely on cloud storage), fast. The hard drive, CPU, and RAM are all laptop spec but it does not hold back the performance of the it at all.

I was surprised to see the wireless antenna come with it. The VESA mount and keyboard/mouse are standard but there was no mention of the antenna..nice addition.

Cons: Comes with Windows 7 Pro pre-installed but does NOT include any information about it - no cd key or disc.

The only discs it comes with are Windows 8 recovery discs...no sense in that. You have to call Lenovo directly to try and get a copy of the Windows 7 discs.

Other Thoughts: WIndows 7 recovery discs would be nice. If I wanted WIndows 8 discs, I would have chosen a computer that came with it installed.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well until it's been running a while

Pros: Small size yet standard laptop parts.
Generous quantity of USB ports.
Quiet.

Cons: Audio output jack only on front panel.
Built-in speaker way too quiet.
System slows to an excruciating crawl after running for over a week without turning off.

Other Thoughts: We have purchased a number of these units. All were re-formatted upon arrival with Windows 7 32-bit (because we haven't tested and converted to 64-bit.) The Lenovo drivers were re-installed.

The one common problem is that the systems all because VERY slow over time. For example, to log into Windows the system will take five minutes or more. Task Manager doesn't correlate any unusual load, neither does Resource Monitor. It's as if SpeedStep is stuck on the lowest setting.

The only solution is to power off the system for a moment. It runs great when turned on again. BIOS updates didn't even resolve the issue. Simply baffling.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stuff

Pros: Great machine. Compact, good performance, low power consumption, runs surprisingly cool. The 3-year warranty is always a plus.

Cons: An optical drive would be a nice feature, but for this form factor, it's not necessary or always appropriate. Besides, external DVD[+-RW] drives are cheap enough.

Other Thoughts: I love these things. We've set clients up with many of these little boxes. They hide away nicely, and even clip onto the back of an LCD with the included VESA mount hardware.

5 out of 5 eggsImpressive design

Pros: Very nice and compact design. I was very impressed with number of various ports, wireless capability and even HDMI output. It work very quite.

Cons: One tiny problem. AC block that has non-standard connection for power cord. So, I could not use different cord to adjust length. If they used regular computer power cord connection, it would be very helpful.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't believe this picture!

Pros: Work's fine.

Cons: This picture depicts a DVD drive on top of the CPU unit, but there is not DVD drive in the box. The details tab does not make this clear.
