Pros: Small, powerful and quiet without too much annoying trial-ware installed. Win 7 installed, Win 8 is installed on included recovery disks.

Cons: Some annoying trial-ware was installed. Win 8 is pre-installed on the recovery disks. So unless you like Win 8, best to make disk image or recovery disks of the original HD install prior to use.

Other Thoughts: I have always built my own personal computers from components. The difference between the components price and the (sale) price of this machine made building one not worth my time. This is the first commercially-made computer I have purchased for my own use since my Apple IIe.

My employer has specced Lenovo computers for the entire corporation. Several thousand of them on 2 year leases. They have performed well, so when I retired, I figured I'd treat myself to one.

Pros: Easy set up. Not much added apps to deal with. Runs very quiet and fast

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I have purchased somewhere between 100 - 150 desktops and laptops in the last 5 -7 years and two things stand out. I have always been happy with Newegg and the Lenovo products have always performed as expected or better.
