5 out of 5 eggsLenovo M57

Pros: I love this machine. Installed XBMC and hooked up to my entertainment center and canceled my cable account. Runs like a striped ape and no probs what so ever. Too bad they ran out or I'd buy a few more.

Cons: 2gb ram, 80 gb hdd, but I aint complaining. I got all my movies stored elsewhere and XBMC does the rest.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone lookin for a budget PC. its not a massive gamer but it will take just about anything else you can throw at it. I have yet to find an issue with it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inside like new, no dust bunnies in here. Amazed how clean inside was. Small, lightweight unit. After updates installed for win7 all is fine. Found some Intel chip set updates easy to do, very happy.

Cons: Not a DVD burner.

5 out of 5 eggsgotta know what you are doing

Pros: More than adequate CPU for most needs. E6750 processor has 4MB cache. COA sticker on the side w/ activation keys. Motherboard allows flexible boot options including USB. Lots of USB 2.0 ports. Cost of OS license alone should make this purchase worth it.

Cons: Taking risk w/ a 6 year old computer. Case is scratched all over exposing bare metal.

Only 2 SATA ports onboard. No IDE. Came configured as non AHCI mode rendering the pre-loaded Windows image useless if you want to mirror the drive to an SSD and boot in AHCI mode.

No Win7 OS disc, Thankfully you can download Win7 Home Premium ISO from Microsoft Technet sources.

Other Thoughts: Replaced the slow and noisy 80GB HDD bundle with an SSD to boost performance. Virtual mem and pagefiling w/ SSD does not require bumping up the 2GB RAM for basic internet use. If really needed, this unit allows adding a dedicated video card and RAM up to 8GB.

For a shared home PC. I opted for this setup and expect it to last another 3-4 years. Total cost w/ SSD is less than $190.

WEI after installing SSD
CPU 6.2
Mem 5.5
Graphics 3.7
3D Graphics 3.3
Disk 7.8

After replacing the HDD, noticed that fan is very quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsnice for the money

Pros: Cheap. Great for the money. It comes with Windows 7 Home edition which on its own costs something like $80. Great for the wife doing her email and web browsing. The small footprint is great. This one has a printer port, similar ones that Newegg sells for a few less $$'s don't necessarily have one.

Cons: Only 80GB drive, but you can change it easily for a larger one if need be.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little computer

Pros: Great little computer and it even came with a DVD/CD combo (Not just DVD)! Very good condition and well boxed. Fast (even with limited RAM) and very quiet. Windows Home premium 64Bit is also a plus!

Cons: A bigger hard drive would be even better, but for $129.00 who can argue?
