2 out of 5 eggsVery noisy, but can be fixed with a $5 exhaust fan. Skip this deal unless the price is right.

Pros: Good price to replace an XP computer ($85 at time of my purchase). Cheaper than getting Windows at retail.

Cons: Inadequate cooling. Only comes with one fan (at front of case) which does double-duty as a CPU fan also. No fan to suck hot air out of the system, or even decent air vents at the back.

Even in routine web browsing, the case fan becomes very noisy when it has to speed up to cool the CPU. Purchased a $5 Rosewill PCI exhaust fan which seems to have fixed the problem, but still would not expect the computer to be able to handle heavy duty action such as gaming.

If you have purchased this system in the past, or it becomes available again for purchase -- get an exhaust fan to go with it!

Other Thoughts: Only get this system if price is the most important aspect, and then get a cheap exhaust fan to put in one of the PCI slots. If you can spend $20-30 more to get a dual core, go that route instead.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Deal

Pros: 99 bucks with Windows 7 Pro.

PCI Express slot

4 Dimm slots

Cons: None for this pricepoint

Other Thoughts: I have a computer repair business and wanted to see what I could get for 100 dollars. I can sell this and make a profit.

3 out of 5 eggs...

Pros: Cheap as dirt, came loaded with nothing thank the lord and savior.

Cons: Arrived with broken keyboard and the CD/DVD tray would not open or close...

Other Thoughts: For $100 I'm not upset if I can get my programs to load I'll keep it without asking for another.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Replaced an old Windows xp with this, works great and for a recertified desktop its in very good shape, no scratches or dents.

Cons: Fan is a bit loud when under heavy use playing any game, but spins down and run normally well checking email or surfing the internet.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: Good price

Cons: Cheap version of windows , no backup or support if it crashes

Other Thoughts: I purchased this as a backup desktop after the third time of turning it on windows crashed . I called new egg and they wouldn't take it back because I didn't have the box. They suggested I call the manufacture and I did ... They told me to put the back up disk in and reinstall windows but it didn't come with one so they told me to go buy another. This product and support is worthless

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Pre-installed Windows 7 Home premium x86; same price as buying only the OEM operating system, youre basically getting free hardware; pretty kewl form factor, small; sits vertical or horizontal; that loud fan (it's actually the CPU fan) can be set to quiet mode

Cons: heavy; video freezes on boot occasionally; 32-bit OS;

2 out of 5 eggsThinkCentre M52

Pros: It's a fairly cheap computer. Though it's a heavy desktop I like the case and the easy to open it.

Cons: The negative.. getting drivers. The audio driver is non-existent. It comes ready to install with Win 7 Home 32 bit, but I decided to go to 64 bit. There are NO audio drivers to be found for the onboard SoundMax audio card. I'm having to order PCI sound cards for the 2 units I bought as gifts.

Other Thoughts: Had I known then what I know now I wouldn't have bought these.

2 out of 5 eggsVery loud

Pros: Cheap, basic Windows 7 system. 2 extra RAM slots to upgrade if needed. Always like IBM/Lenovo cases, very easy to open and work on.

Cons: The case fan is EXTREMELY loud when at full RPM's. Going to spend the extra $10 and get a quieter fan.
