5 out of 5 eggsA Rare Treat.

Pros: Speed and Build Quality

Cons: Kind of heavy.

Other Thoughts: "Updated Posting; So I have been using this Lenovo PC for 11 months. I did the free MS Win 10 upgrade and it is completely compatible. It is top notch, No Poblems. No lockups, No slowdown in speed. This PC is a rare treat and worth every penny!

Original Posting: Best bang for the buck that I could find on a mid-sized all-in-one with a touchscreen and only Newegg offered this price."

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Computer! No complaints. Fast enough, runs Photoshop.

Pros: Use it on top of my Yamaha DGX 650 piano, tethered to a cable so it acts as a player piano using Musicnotes software. Sits sturdy even while I play the piano. Touch screen is great. Works well with wireless keyboard. Has built in camera, and mic. Like a laptop with no battery. Wireless is great too. Nothing wrong.

Cons: DVD housing is fragile and got stuck. It's a little bent right now as I had to get the DVD out. Similar to the ones in a laptop. Maybe my fault, but DVD did get stuck. For the price, no complaints. I can always buy an external DVD RW if I plan on burning a lot of DVDs.

Other Thoughts: A great addition. I use it all the time.

4 out of 5 eggsInexpensive and good

Pros: It works well out of the box, and seems to run cool.

Cons: 1) No recovery DVD or wizard to walk you through creating a set;

2) Windows 8.1 and the annoying touch screen slows down productivity;

3) Hard drive speed: Although there is room for a faster 3½" drive, Lenovo chose to install a 2½" drive;

4) Too much preinstalled "shovelware" that needed to be ripped out;

5) Max's out at only 8gB RAM:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat computer!

Pros: Space saving, excellent monitor, very well built, zippy, silent, best features of a touchscreen and a regular desktop

Cons: All the bloatware they stuff the machine with, not a machine for gamers

Other Thoughts: Best overall computer I've ever owned - and there have been MANY. I love the touchscreen features, and the fact that everything is contained within the back of the monitor. I would highly recommend this to anyone as a great general purpose computer. If you're into heavy duty graphics or video work, or games, then there are better choices. But for business work, this is the one.

5 out of 5 eggsValue for Money Workstation or Home PC

Pros: Pentium G3250T processor in this system runs cool and yet it's literally twice as powerful as the popular Core2Duo processors of a few years ago. And its power consumption is much lower than its predecessors.

The touchscreen monitor is an inch or two larger than you usually get at this price.

Lenovo has proven itself a reliable brand.

Would make a good family computer or a sensibly-priced workstation.

Has Intel Quick Sync video which is great for fast, high quality video rendering and transcoding.

All-in-one design saves space and runs quietly in home or ofice.

Cons: Lacks Turbo boost and Hyperthreading, but those features would increase cost considerably.

Other Thoughts: Affordable all-in-one PCs with a touchscreen have mostly been limited to weak processors and small-ish screens. Having played with several of those, i found they are only really good for email, internet, playing solitaire, etc. This Lenovo model has a great balance of size, performance and price.

Regarding Intel Quick Sync video feature, experience suggests that for video editing or transcoding it's often faster than nVidia's CUDA and the Radeon alternatives, as well as producing superior image quality results.

At the time of writing Newegg Flash has a very favorable price on this model.
