2 out of 5 eggsHP / DELL

Pros: Win 7, Much improved over 7

Cons: Slower than Del with same specs, Noisier than Del, Bigger than Del,

Other Thoughts: Good fhing I ordered 2 by mistake, the first one was a slug. I change the memory, and messed with the settings. Ended up using the 2nd one. Still is not s fast as the Dell With same specs. Shoulda got a Del.

5 out of 5 eggsmikey

Pros: Unit booted up out of the box and has current version of Windows 7. Ordered a low profile wifi card and the PC is now on the home network. Will probably order another for my shop.

Cons: Hard drive is a bit noisy

Other Thoughts: Newegg doesn't deliver to PO Box addresses. Here in the boondocks even UPS drops their packages at the local Post Office. Creates a real problem for those of us who do not have home mail delivery.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Came with Win7 Pro loaded. Activation with included COA was easy. Upgraded to Windows 10 and Z00m! Now it's faster than my Intel quad core. Included memory was more than sufficient.

Cons: Came with no optical drive had to add one, Celeron CPU, pulled it and added Core2 Duo.

Other Thoughts: All in all after adding / replacing parts it still cost me less than $150.

1 out of 5 eggsDead Hard Drive

Pros: Case was in great condition

Cons: Purchased this refurb as the specs are great for the price and the reviews looked good. The PC looked brand new, however the drive just clicked and wouldn't boot. The bios couldn't even recognize a drive other than the DVD-ROM. I plugged in one of my other drives and it found it immediately. I can't use this PC without a drive which contains the OS as I'm replacing an old XP business computer. I have RMA'd for replacement, I will re-evaluate my review once I receive a replacement.

Other Thoughts: Why aren't these things tested or QA'd before leaving???

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad not great

Pros: Price, everything you need outside of monitor, windows 7 (or free upgrade to 10) 64bit

Cons: Ram is random sticks, a 2gb and 2x 1gb, and I did not know that a 4gb stick of ddr2 is 100$. Keep that in mind...

HDD is making HORRIBLE noises. It is working fine so far, but the noises are SERIOUSLY concerning. I wanted to put the 1tb hdd as a pro, but I don't see it lasting very long...

PSU, is not ATX standard

Minor con, I lost $ buying a gpu that did not fit, would like to see the specs listed (nvidia gt 640 low profile does fit, but I am concerned it is drawing too much power, time will tell)

Other Thoughts: For the money I'd give it a buy rating. If you have a spare hdd to replace or backup with

2 out of 5 eggsTotally unprofessional!

Pros: RMA with no trouble for PC that looked like a hammer was used to bust the back in.

Cons: The PC had extensive damage to it, but the box it was in didn't! That means that someone packed it with the back smashed inward, the top mashed down and the right side bulged outward. Then when I called them get further attention they told me they would not send another until they recieved the one that they shipped to me messed up. I have spent thousands here and I have a perfect relationship with them and still get treated as if I never did business here. Well once this is done I will not shop here again.

Other Thoughts: Really should help the customers more, especially when they spend what I have here in the past. I needed an immediate replacement for my business and now it will be 2 weeks to do what should have taken a couple of days. Really agitated!

5 out of 5 eggsKiller deal, highly recommended

Pros: Small, fast, more than powerful enough for most non-gamer
applications. Also has space for a second 3.5" (or smaller)
SATA drive.

Cons: Small form factor but that is only a negative if you want to
stuff it full of cards and drives. No USB 3.0.

Other Thoughts: I have two of these, now, one about a year old (for me) and
being used steadily ripping and creating videos. I wish it had USB 3.0. The only changes I made were changing out
the optical drive for DVDRW and adding 4 GB of RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: Specs are great for a machine of this cost.Couldn't even tell if it was a Refurb. I think some of them are just factory overruns. absolutly NO JUNKWARE installed Only about 45 updates to get. Was updated this year in March.

Cons: A little bit of work to upgrade to SSD. (see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: Recieved one 2 years ago-still running well. recieved one today and orderd 6 more. The one I got today I logged on to windows and activated it. It even had drivers for my wireless card. I the rebooted and went into the Bios to find the Sata was set at IDE. so changed it to ACHI and of course when I rebooted it ran System Repair and it could not repair. It asked to send results to Microsoft which I did then popped up a screen with choices. I chose Install Windows from existing windows files. After that it installed windows and created an old windows folder in my C drive. Then I did system cleanup and deleted the old Windows folder and files. Now I am good to go and clone an SSD with the licenced windows installation in ACHI mode.
