1 out of 5 eggsNon-standard build components. Not able to be upgraded. No commonality of parts between units of the same production run.

Pros: Good machine at a decent price. But beware, you can't upgrade video. Power supply uses non-standard pinouts.

Cons: Can't upgrade video. Power supply uses non-standard pinouts. If it goes, you hope you can get one from HP, otherwise you're going to be building your own. I ordered two machines in short order, both took PC3 memory. Ordered a third machine a month later, it takes PC3L memory. Now I need two different components to support the same make and line of machine in the same workspace.

Other Thoughts: HP is engaging in the same sort of FUKKERY that Dell used to do. I dropped Dell like a hot potato and now it looks like it is HPs turn on the chopping block.

4 out of 5 eggsPowerful Machine, So Far So Good

Pros: Powerful Processor, Expandability, Easy to Work On, DVD Optical Drive, 3.5" Knockout for card reader, Fast, 3 year warranty, It's an HP, SuperSpeed USB

Cons: Only 4GB RAM, 6-8 would be nice, The product image shows no optical drive, however there IS in fact an optical drive on this machine located to the right of the power button. If I have any trouble, I will submit another review or revise this one.

Other Thoughts: It looks pretty sleek.
