1 out of 5 eggsVery Weird

This review is from: Lenovo Desktop Computer H50 (90BH0037US) A6-Series APU A6-6310 (1.80 GHz) 4 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD AMD Radeon R7 Windows 10 Home 64-Bit

Pros: Okay for VERY basic tasks like Netflix and web browsing

Cons: No dedicated graphics card
Laptop CPU soldered to the board
No real power supply, so no expansion
No real horsepower for any games
Very slow boot times (even for standard hard drive)
Can't put new hard drive in due to Lenovo products

Other Thoughts: I ordered this product thinking I was going to get a solid first PC which I could expand on in the future and make a "sleeper PC". What I actually got was a laptop CPU soldered to the motherboard (which meant I couldn't change it), a VERY weird power setup (no real power supply, just a laptop type power cord which plugged straight into the motherboard) In addition to the odd power setup, the hard drive and optical drive were powered from the motherboard with what seemed to be an old school 4 pin CPU power connector. Another point that I would like to mention is that there was no dedicated graphics card in the system so I couldn't even play Minecraft at acceptable frame rates, this ended up setting me back another $90 to buy a very under powered graphics card. An issue that I had (not sure if this was just me) was that my load times were VERY slow. Abnormally slow even for a standard hard drive, Since the motherboard/CPU combo was a Lenovo piece, the OS was locked to that piece of hardware, making it hard to change anything once again. Recently, I have made a new computer , replacing the system in question. I was going to use the old parts in a system for my parents as a surprise for them because they currently don't have a computer. Anyway, I reused the hard drive from this computer and wiped it for a mass storage drive in my new system. I dropped a new 250Gb drive in this computer with all the same old hardware and it wouldn't boot. This was due to the fact that the motherboard/CPU combo was locked to the Lenovo Windows licence, A big headache for me as I now have a useless pile of hardware. Over all I would not recommend this computer to anyone who is looking to upgrade in the future.
