For that price I was expecting a large toy...this is a solid set of binoculars. Cons: Without a doubt there are better optics out there. But for the price you really can not list that as a con. I would have liked these specs in a smaller model. Other Thoughts: I have a 10x25 Bushnell that went out of alignment and costs a lot more that this one did. The Overview also has these as waterproof. I am here to say that they are not. i bought 3 pairs for 17 bucks. I will keep them and give them as gifts. Didn't notice this discrepancy until recently. Other Thoughts: Cheaply constructed, mine came with the right lenses partially off, I had to unscrew and redo to put back on correctly. Lenses focused fairly, but simply not sharp enough. Ken 6/7/2012 6:16:11 AM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5worth only 17 bucks... Pros: Good rubber grip. Feels sturdy. Its a "fair" pair of binoculars. For the price of 17 bucks I now own 3 pairs. The price here is the driving factor. Cons: Focusing is not as sharp as it should be. I have a Barska Crossover (8x30) and comparing the two, the Barska is a much better ocular with precise focusing, better coating (FULLY MULTI-COATED) whereas this is just fully coated. Makes a difference in viewing... Other Thoughts: There are better binoculars for $40 bucks. If you are willing to dish out this much, then I suggest you look at the Barska series.
