Pros: Pack a good punch in small speaker. Will not respond to anything below 70hz much or at all as handles 70-20k hz on specs but can be used as front speakers in a surround system if pressed for space buy these.

Cons: Will need a subwoofer paired with this if you want to hear lows from music. Does have good mid range but not very much at low end. Treble and highs are crystal clear. Mine was hooked to a 145 watt sony 5.2 receiver and did not blow speaker or distort at resonable levels with crossover on set to small speaker at 70hz. Does work with large speaker setting but didn't want to risk blowing out but probably wont.

Pros: Got these for my ham radio station. I feed them with a Lepai mini amplifier with mono split between the two speakers in phase and it produces a great sound field. Very impressive build quality, nice and hefty and very solid to the feel. No rattles. Excellent quality. Excellent audio replication with the Lepai and lows and highs are consistent with a speaker of this size.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: I got these at a sale price but even if I paid full price, they would be a good value. Excellent packaging and the owners manual was really a high quality piece of printing, surprised me.

Pros: These sound like a boss! They are far better than the laughingly antiquated Emerson Module 34 speakers I have been using! Until now I had to use my tower speakers in conjunction with my bookshelf speakers in order to get decent audio in my room. Now I only need to use my towers when I really want to bring up the volume, which is saying a lot because I have successfully tested these at the highest levels I can stand in my room. Definitely a good snipe for me.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have these hooked up to 18GA stranded copper speaker wire. 100% copper. May eventually change the wire connections to banana plugs if I find myself needing to move them around a bit. Good thing the binding post will accept plain wire, terminals, or banana plugs without a problem.

Pros: Very loud

Cons: Distort when volume is maxed out

Other Thoughts: Amazing speakers for the price. If they are on sale grab them you won't regret it ($30 for me)

Pros: -price was perfect when i bought these on sale. worth every penny

Cons: -none so far. ive had these speakers blasting wide open just to test the quality and had no distortion at all or loss of sound quality

Other Thoughts: -highly recommend this product as well as all other jbl loft speakers
-now i need to get the rest of them for a complete home theater setup

Pros: Small size, quality drivers, good sonic quality

Cons: Not small enough to wall mount. You CAN, but it is slightly bigger than you would want

Other Thoughts: Nice sound when used as my surround rear channel speakers. Sonic quality is excellent. Soft dome tweeter and rubber surround mid range speaker are nice looking too. Driven by a 110w per channel receiver so they are properly pushed. Overall, I would recommend as a perfect surround speaker, or if you amp them well as primary speakers, but get a separate subwoofer for low end!

Pros: Can't rate because they were not applicable to my needs

Cons: again, don't have any review of product as never used.

Other Thoughts: This product may be very good but due to my lack of expertise, this speaker did not fit my needs and unfortunately I can not return, even for an account credit. So word to the wise, if you have any questions at all, ask them before you buy, otherwise you will be stuck with speakers you can not use. Luckily they were on sale so I'm not out too much money.

Pros: Great sound, absolutely unbeatable value.

Cons: For the price, no cons.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, these things sound amazing, and for the sale price of $30/pair?? Would be a great bargain at twice the price. Pair them with a quality budget subwoofer such as the Martin Logan Dynamo series, and it is a definite win.
