Cons: - Does not support higher resolutions than 1920x1080. I recently got an ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor that only has HDMI inputs, not wanting to tie up the only HDMI out my gtx760 has I bought this cable. However Windows will not allow anything higher than 1920x1080 with this cable so I went back to a standard HDMI cable

Pros: 6ft is Good. Might want longer. Works well with the GeForce950. No more adapters, its all in the cable. Connectors are 2.5" for the Display Port and 2" for the HDMI. Not a great protrusion as with adapters and a connector. Good price at 8.99. May want more.

Cons: Package comes with warning: "The plastic on this product contains lead...Wash hands after handling."

Pros: Wanted to connect DisplayPort laptop to HDMI monitor. WORKED PERFECT. Great quality as well as fast shipping. Much better than adapters.

Cons: It's a cable, one of the cheapest parts to manufacture, and one of the easiest to test, I thought the bad reviews would simply be very unlucky, but I purchased 3 instead of 2 just to be safe. Sure enough, one of the 3 does not work.

Other Thoughts: I cannot give any eggs for a faulty cable despite two being fine.

Pros: Works. Nice thick cable, decent length, clips for the display port.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I am really not certain why/how people here are determining this is a USB adapter, rather than display port...

Anyhow, running a second HDMI monitor from a display port on my 980 and it works great. Definitely not USB.

Pros: Thick cord sound and picture are clear full HDMI 1080p resolutions

Cons: You have to adjust the sound setting on your computer to hear the sound from your tv , this is because the display port don't not have authority to control the sound over and HDMI so you have to give it permission almost every time you plug it in but there is one way around it set the sound default to hd tv and the laptop sounds will always go to display port
