Other Thoughts: - In hindsight, I should've bought the 6' one since this one is just long enough for my setup.

Pros: This is an excellent cable that's exactly as long as I needed it to be. Not too short and not too long. Excellent quality with well fitting connectors, and the price just can't be beat. I looked high and low for a short DP-to-HDMI cable, and this was the only one I found that was reasonably priced. It met all my expectations and works flawlessly.

Cons: No real cons. The only thing I'd prefer is for it to be black, but that's a very minor and easily overlooked issue, since I don't really see the cable. It just kind of blends in with everything else.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this cable for use with the Intel NUC NUC5i5RYH 'micro-computer' (see separate review) which has both HDMI and DP (DisplayPort) interfaces. I'd never used DP before and wanted to try it out, just to see what the quality was like. It's excellent and works great with my 27" BenQ monitor. The Intel NUC sits about 2 feet from my monitor aside from my mouse, it's the smallest thing on my desk, which is also very small. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cable to anyone who needs or wants a DP-to-HDMI adapter cable. Works like a champ at a GREAT price.

Pros: Works well with my T430. Good price.

Cons: Short. :-) But you probably know that. I would go with the 6' cable for most applications, as it has a bit more pull when routing it around other cables / the desk / etc.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if the length was the issue, but when connected to an HDMI switch, this particular cable caused flickering / synching issues. Directly connected to the monitor it, it was OK.

I swapped it for a 6' version, and that seems to be working perfectly fine through said switch. This isn't necessarily a con, though: I'm still going to pack the 3' cable in my bag for travel (and extend it using a coupler, maybe). I probably needed something longer in the first place.

Pros: It works.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Mine came in the mail yesterday, and I hooked it up to my Surface tablet and the TV to make sure it works. Yep, just as advertised, picture and sound. And reasonably priced to boot. I don't see how you can go wrong.
