1 out of 5 eggsI made a mistake

Pros: It's full of potential. This company makes poorly manufacturered products and makes only a minimal effort honoring Fiet Electric warranty. I tried to get a replacement florescent light bulb, only to be sent a replacement that did not work. I contacted Fiet Electric, was told to mail it to Fiet Electric. I never heard from them again. This is a company that makes a product and offers a warranty they nerver plan on honoring. I do not buy anymore products from Fiet Electric,

Cons: Cost, quality, warranty, the manufacturer

4 out of 5 eggsSecond purchased

Pros: I purchased a second Feit Electric 72328 LED flashlight here from Newegg. I cannot even grasp why some of the reviewers here are giving this flashlight poor reviews. At 2 other 'very' well known retailers this flashlight is getting 4 or 4.5 Stars from the reviewers.

This second flashlight is just as excellent as the first one I purchased here at Newegg. I still knocked off an egg for one issue detailed in the 'con' area.

Cons: Even though this flashlight is sturdy and has decent quality I noticed one 'slight' flaw in my second purchase when comparing it to the first purchased flashlight. When zooming in on the second flashlight the 'hash' area is not as 'crisp' as the first one. However the 'button' on the second flashlight is more sturdy than on the first one I own. So... off comes an egg for the slightly blurred 'hash' area when in zoomed in mode.

Other Thoughts: Again, visit other online retailers to verify this flashlight getting 4 or 4.5 stars. One of the retailers A***** has plenty of reviews, but their 2-pack is a rip off compared to here at Newegg. The retailer C***** carries a 3-pack which is comparably priced here to Newegg and also has plenty of positive reviews for this flashlight.

Use good batteries as always for 'best' results with any device. I use Tenergy premium as they hold more mAh than competitors and I have a great Maha battery charger.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Works

Cons: 500 Lumens? I guess you can say anything; don't make it so. I would say it is more like 20. C batteries would be worth it for 500 lumens; but not this thing. I have one of these: TerraLUX TLF-3002AA. It is many times more bright at any distance even though designed as a flood, half the size and uses AA. This thing is junk. I would give it away but wouldn't do that to a friend and my enemies know better than to take something from me.

Other Thoughts: Newegg, drop this thing from your site.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent high Lumens buy

Pros: Like the earlier reviewer, it looks and feels very well constructed. My experience is different than that reviewer because I've had no problems with the flashlight. I prefer using standard rechargeable 'D', 'C', 'AA' or 'AAA' batteries instead of the all to common proprietary expensive batteries found in many tactical or near-tactical flashlights. I have rechargeable NIMH 'C' batteries for this flashlight and have fantastic results.

Cons: I took off one egg because... well, everything is well constructed except... the button on the back of the flashlight. It has a 'rubber' type boot over the button which has a 'lower' quality feel compared to the rest of the flashlight. Oh well, it was almost 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: You may wish to really scrutinize your rechargeable battery purchases, they are wildly all over the map for reliability and mAh's. I choose Tenergy Premium White batteries and always/only 'slow charge' them. My batteries have lasted for years, not one failure. I also have a great MAHA charger that allows a 'conditioning' mode which I use a few times a year for all of my various sized batteries.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke on first use

Pros: It was very bright...

Cons: Used the zoom function and the LED fell out inside the unit.

Other Thoughts: Looked well constructed, I might have gotten a lemon but I won't buy another. Returned to New-egg for refund.
