5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Does what is suppose to, an extra feature I didn't know about is that it vibrates when your phone rings

Cons: Nothing

Other Thoughts: I think it is a great value for the price.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Show's me the time and my heart rate

Cons: Pretty much worthless connected to you phone, that's if you can even get it to connect. Sometimes takes 5-10 minutes of playing with it to get it to sync. Battery life is short considering what it does.

It's just not worth the $130

2 out of 5 eggsin desperate need of improvement

Pros: Overall a cool idea and a great device. Keeps time exceptionally well and tracks basic calories burned throughout the day.

Cons: The heart rate monitor is not and will not be accurate during exercise. I'm not sure when but a suit has been filed against Fitbit for this very reason. Also the band has a feature that allows you to view the time by raising your wrist like viewing a normal watch but this is incredibly temperamental and periodically the device randomly displays the time draining the battery.
The band gets dirty easily and can keep a smell. Cleaning it with alcohol doesn't work for long so don't make my mistake and clean it regularly.
But of all of these things the biggest con for me is the time that the time froze for absolutely NO REASON. This happened at about 8:40ish and the watch remained at 8:40 until I synced at approximately 11 and the time updated and again froze without changing minutes once. This greatly annoyed me because my favorite feature of the device is its watch that displays exact time. I got in contact with the tech support and finally resolved that the way to fix the device was to plug it in to the charger and unplug it, thus resetting it.

Other Thoughts: The battery lasts about three days if you don't use the silent alarms constantly and don't check it too often.
I'm skeptical about the accuracy of the rest of the data it records because of the inaccurate heart rate monitor.
Overall it is a great device to get a basic idea of what your overall daily is, which is why it was made. But if you want completely accurate measurements, you should look elsewhere because the thing Fitbit needs to work on is accuracy.

Pros: I'm having a great time w/ this Fitbit - not difficult to set up or use.

Cons: Wish it was easier to get on and off. The rubber band gets sticky.

1 out of 5 eggsSmall Inaccuracies but Dismal Tech Support

Pros: My spouse and son jointly purchased the Fitbit Charge HR as my birthday present. I am happy with its Hours Slept function though, whenever I am motionless after waking up, the small awake time is counted as sleep. The Steps function is relatively accurate though the function adds 2k to 5k extra steps when I am not walking but doing the wash, folding laundry, or painting. I learned to remove the Fitbit when I am doing housework. The Floors Climbed function misses a flight or two daily but no biggie.

Cons: However, the other day, the Charge HR stopped syncing and I needed Fitbit tech support. I waited 20 minutes on HOLD until an off-shore tech answered. I explained, "My Charge HR won't sync with my iPhone even after following Fitbit's online posted sync advice three times. Fitbit's online help community advised deleting and re-adding the Charge HR to my Fitbit account, which I followed and which only made matters worse, as the Charge HR CANNOT BE ADDED to my Fitbit account, stuck on the iPhone Fitbit app window 'You're all set! Finishing Up... [continuous spinning wheel icon]' ". The tech went through the set-up steps and incredulously advised, "You need to restart your iPhone". I informed him that if I restart my phone I WILL LOSE the call connection. The tech reassured me that he will call me back in 3 minutes. After 3 hours, presently 16 hours and counting, I have not received a call back. I have no need to call tech support back after such poor service but will notify Corporate. I simply Googled the Charge HR's repetitive "You're all set! Finishing up... " and sync problems, found a Fitbit owner with the same problems, followed her advice, and, as a result, I have a functioning Charge HR though all data for Wednesday, January 13, 2016 is missing and data for January 14, 2016 is abnormally low. Fitbit needs to improve its Charge HR and its tech support. After my wife heard about the dismal tech support for my Charge HR, she is returning her Small Charge HR just bought last month.

1 out of 5 eggsGet another brand

Pros: Tracks steps and heart rate

Cons: Battery life is horrible (1.5 days)
Proprietary charger instead of a microUSB port
Green light wakes you up at night

Other Thoughts: Firmware updates are a huge problem.
Revision 102 has been causing battery issues (and bricks) for months and there is not been a correction released yet.

2 out of 5 eggsLots of problems

Pros: When it works, it seems to work reasonably well. Much has been written about the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of the step counter and heart rate monitor. I mainly use it for trends.

Cons: First one I got was DOA. Returned it to the store where I bought it and exchanged it for another one. That one worked well enough for 3 or 4 weeks until the clock started losing time and would not correct via sync. When I returned from a trip and tried to reset it to my usual time zone it would not sync to the correct time. Contacted Fitbit support and they somehow determined from my data that there was a hardware fault and they are sending me another one. I do not have high hopes. I think there are major problems with this product based on their support forums and plenty of other online complaints.

Other Thoughts: You MUST be connected to the internet to sync it to your computer or phone. I think this is idiotic. When traveling it is not always convenient to be connected to the internet.

4 out of 5 eggsgood value nice product

Pros: best overall value and features for fitness products

also one of the top 3 software experience and usability

Cons: the dekstop application doesn't do anything but sync to the webstie. lame it should be a full suite with all of your data being able to be stored on the comptuer. yeah exporting from the website doesn't count

and the reason it's not is because fitbit wants to make money with that yearly subscription...lame

Other Thoughts: still buy it tho, currently it's the best overall tracker

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The device is light weight and has me thinking more about my health.
Battery life is around five days as listed. App is easy enough to navigate. Love the silent alarm feature.

Cons: I feel like it lacks calibration. I also feel that my device leans toward the high side (heart rate, calories burned, steps taken through out the day.)

Other Thoughts: Four starts is too much, but three was way to low for this device. Like the device, I thought I'd round up. If I could I would have rated 3.45

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product as long as you don't sweat too much...

Pros: Heart rate for low to moderate workouts, sleep monitoring, calorie monitoring, etc...

Cons: If you are starting to sweat a lot due to something like a long cardio workout, the heart rate monitor becomes accurate and sometimes doesn't work. I have tried moving the Fitbit high up on my wrist according to the instructions, but the heart rate monitor was still flaky.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I still think this product is well worth the money regardless of the issues with the heart rate monitor if you sweat a lot.
