No equipment rental or monitoring fees. System will robo-call you when alarm is tripped. When you pay for monitoring from a major alarm company, all they do is call you and ask what you want to do if your alarm is tripped. By default, alarm companies don't call the police for you, the decision to call the police still rests with you. In effect, this system cuts out that middle man and saves you serious bank. Cons: Setup a bit quirky. Batteries were low right out of the box. Company seems a bit slow in coming forward with updates. Other Thoughts: This is a good product, especially for the price. Initially we had a few hassles with setup and synchronization, but that's all gone away now. A couple of the sensors came with bad batteries in them which caused them to lose contact with the base unit. Since replacement, it's been solid. I recommend this system.
