Pros: He has not shredded it up like his six previous beds. He loves to lay on it while we watch TV. My dog really likes his new bed. He actually uses it to sleep on. He actually prefers it now, versus laying on our couch. Even our cats love to sleep on it. I own an American Fox hound mix. He looks similar to the dog in the bed picture. The bed also holds its shape. No problem with stuffing shifting around inside.

Cons: It had a really strong odor at first from the new memory foam, but that dissipated after a few days. The cover is rather thin and light weight, so we spread an old blanket on top of the new bed to help protect it. We were concerned the cover could rip easily.

Other Thoughts: My dog likes to play with stuffed animals and I think he associated the scent of the stuffing in the previous beds as being a giant stuffed animal and that is why he shredded up his other beds. This one smells like a human bed and as such he treats it that way. Besides the memory foam probably would not taste very good. Dogs think differently than we do.

So far it has worked out to be a good purchase.
