5 out of 5 eggsDLP on 05/30/08

Pros: This was my first LCD TV. So far I'm completely satisfied and delighted with the product. This was a replacement for a bedroom CRT TV. I live in the Chicago area suburbs. I have antenna only & the picture during HD brodcasts are phenomenal...actually much better than I expected. We chose this mainly because we previously purchased a LG LCD 20" computer monitor from Newegg which is awesome.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Wish the S&H was free, as many other LCDs were.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Works great. No dead pixels, picture is great. Light. Great for my first flat screen. High def is solid. Great buy.

Cons: Video options are a little lacking/confusing/sluggish. Auto contrast is a little annoying but can be turned off.

Other Thoughts: Wish i could have afforded 37+. Cons are not a dealbreaker.

2 out of 5 eggsonly half the screen works

Pros: Good price

Cons: I can't belive it, the screen only worked only o half the unit, calledLG and they states its defective (really !.???..!!!) cost 45.00 to send back to CA even thought the item was shipped from NJ

Other Thoughts: I belive Newegg should have some type of advance RMA service, (item sent out, while returning credit card is charged)

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Overall very nice image quality in the category, nice color reproduction, and respectable contrast ratio.

Nice input options (2HDMI, 2 Component) as well as a S/PDIF digital audio output.

Minimalistic gloss cabinet looks great and feels solid. The built in speakers are also fairly good by TV speaker standards.

Cons: Really only minor issues. The Analog VGA didn't sync up the best and there are no manual options in the set so any adjustments will have to be done on the PC via drivers.

The menus will very nice looking and easy to navigate can feel a bit sluggish.

The audio output is a line-out meaning there is no volume control (or mute) which is a bit of an annoyance if you are like me have a high-end 2-channel pre-amp without a remote.

Remote is oddly shaped.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Great picture, good size, plenty of options, two hdmi/good inputs, low response and high contrast ratio.

Cons: Can't seem to find the ratio where my computer screen shows up without missing pieces. Still even with losing some the movies are brilliant looking. Havn't tried games yet but i'm sure it would look great (But my monitor has a high resolution so I'd only play on this for a lark)

Other Thoughts: A good buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great 32" for the price. My friend was able to get a 32" Aquos from BB at XMAS for six fifty. The LG has the best response time of 5ms of any 32" around. Every lcd i've seen has 6ms or greater. 8000 contrast ratio makes it amazingly bright. Playing Call of Duty 4 on the PS3 and it has no problems keeping up and the picture is extremely crisp and detailed.

Cons: Setup is bit of a pain. On my old 26" Samsung it was easy to switch between night and day contrast. The menu goes along with that.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the menu. This is a great tv for someone looking to spend less then $800. You will not be upset when you get it. Plus you save a ton over buying it in store.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Amazing picture. Same if not better than Sony's top end 32" 720p that is several hundred $$ more. (guess this shouldnt be a surprise as sony uses mostly LG components in their TVs). has great and easy to access inputs and plenty of them. The configuration and menus are easy to navigate. Also has a great case, the TV looks real sleak and clean.

Cons: Only 3 picture modes. Dynamic, Standard and Mild. Would have been a lot nicer and shouldn't have been hard at all, to include some more presets for the picture quality. You can only adjust from it's default "dynamic" setting. So if you like the look of 'standard' but just want to adjust contrast or another setting slightly you have to spend a lot of time adjusting the customizable 'user' settings because they are defaulted to 'dynamic'. You can not just adjust the 'mild' or 'standard' to what you like. So if one of those 2 settings don't look good, expect to spend half an hour getting them to look good.
