2 out of 5 eggsWas a great TV... Kind of...

Pros: The TV HAD a great picture. Good built in sound too. Very bright, crisp, loved it.

Cons: 6 months after I got it a short in the control buttons on the side led to it starting to change it's own channels, turn itself on and off, and change inputs on it's own.

Was under the servicenet warranty and was fixed, after 3 attempts. The tech, though he seemed pretty good, was having a hard time tracking down the actual faulty part.

No big deal, troubleshooting takes time sometimes, and problems do happen. I can live with that. Now, best I can figure on my own (and almost positive), the power supply is toast. Not warrantied any longer... The service places around want as much as the thing is worth to fix it. So it's going in the trash while I get a new one.

Such a waste. :(

Other Thoughts: Really wish it still worked, I enjoyed this TV a lot, but no point fixing it when I can get a brand new TV that is covered by a warranty for about the same price...

1 out of 5 eggsBroken, and still waiting

Pros: Beautiful picture, fast shipping.

Cons: PCBoard needed to be replaced after 3 months of owning it. Still waiting for LG to replace it, so I have not had a TV for 3 weeks.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY!!! READ THIS FIRST

Pros: TV was shipped quickly from Newegg. It was great while it lasted.

Cons: I have had this TV for exactly 3 months, and it had been working perfectly. 1 week ago, the screen started to flicker, and now the tv only works for approx. 3 minutes before the screen goes black in between flickers. Called LG, went through THREE inept customer service representatives, and they scheduled an appointment for a service call with the local service center. I explained the situation to the LG rep, and he said that it was my PC Board and it needed to be changed. Service center calls me the next day to change it to another time 11 - 3pm in the middle of a wednesday, and that the technician would call me a half hour before arriving. I take the day off, in the shower, and my door is ringing because guess what? No phone call to warn me. So now two technicians come in, ask to see my invoice for the tv, ask me what's wrong, does not even LOOK at the TV, and tells me, "Oh, you need a new PCBoard, we don't have it on us, it'll take 2 weeks to get it."

Other Thoughts: I've owned this TV for 3 months, and it's been out of order for 3 weeks. It's just a tiny bit frustrating, not to mention the hoops you have to go through just to get it fixed. And what if this happens again in 9 months, after the 1 year warranty is up? Furthermore, if LG already knew what the problem was, why couldn't they have sent the technicians the part, instead of having me take off two days from work just to wait around for it? One for them to just come and ask me the same question, and another in some future date to fix it? Absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy an LG product again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat picture! Great Features!

Pros: Great picture Quality, excellent features, 3 HDMI, easy to use menus, good quality remote, works with my Xbox 360 through HDMI.

Cons: Has one stuck pixel in the center of the screen which is only noticeable if you're looking very closely at the screen while it's completely black, which is a rare situation. Stuck pixels can happen to any LCD and shouldn't be a reason for not buying this display. I consider myself lucky that I only had one stuck/dead pixel.

Other Thoughts: I definitely noticed a difference in contrast/brightness when this was sitting right next to my computer's LCD, huge improvement.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!

Pros: Picture quality is amazing on this TV. Bought it to use with my 360 which looks super clear clean with cheap HDMI cable. Contrast ratio is what made me get this tv, and of course price. Well worth if you get free shipping.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: If you plan on using it for your 360, Get a cheap HDMI cable from newegg and let your 360 adjust the screen resolution for optimum screen image!

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful television.

Pros: Wonderful television for gaming, runs all of our systems fine - the set by program and 4:3 options make our old, old systems (like the SNES) perfectly playable in such a new television. The Playstation 3 and Wii look incredible.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Was go glad we decided to go with a 720p instead of a 1080p, can't really tell the difference with this television, and it saved us quite a bit.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Not a lot needs to be said. It's a beautiful television with plenty of hookups for just about anything you could want.

Cons: Minor thing, but the speakers aren't that great. Low volumes are fine, but if you have to turn it up a bit there's some static, but it's not a big enough concern to me

1 out of 5 eggsno

Pros: None as of yet.

Cons: UPS as their preferred carrier. I know it's not Neweggs fault, but I have become victim of the faulty UPS system. I received the TV little under 20 mins ago, and the box had a gash in it. Upon extracting the TV, I noticed what the gash led to. I huge puncture mark in the TV. I plugged it in and turned it on, and only about 98% of the image was viewable. I contacted Newegg as soon as I found it and they are replacing it. A little sad that I have to wait even longer for the TV and now take off a day of work to make sure the TV arrives undamaged. I guess they have blind people working for UPS so they are unaware of what would be fragile. I'll hopefully have better to say about the TV when I get the replacement.

Other Thoughts: NEWEGG. Can we get better packing of items?

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great picture, great price, even looks just as good if not the same as the Samsung model. Look at different Flat LCDs and shopped around the stores for deals and the screens to find the best. Again great and very fast shipping on Neweggs part!!! UPS loves me as I get atleast 1-2 orders a week to my house. The box was in great condition and I didnt have to worry about a damaged screen or dead pixels!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: Lots of setting to try out to find the best picture. Sound quality is great too. This would be my first HD TV I went from a SDTV 27" Flat Tube, the difference is HUGE!!! Thanks Newegg!!!
