Pros: Very impressed with this TV. Bought it for a friend who didn't need a high-end 1080p set. Color, clarity, and sharpness are excellent. The black screen border and base are very attractive. Excellent price for this level of quality TV.
Cons: Could use a little more adjust-ability for black, white, and colors ... but, not bad.

Pros: The lowest LAG time of any current market LCD tv that could be found. IF you get a low enough firmware you can turn on DVIX play back from the tv itself! Great picture, fabulous colors out of the box, no calibration neccessary for most home users. Best gaming LCD IMO. Great for PC use as well. Just search for LAG tests. 24p mode is great for a 'classic' movie experience (no extra fluid motion as newer higher HZ tv's give)
Cons: The black levels aren't the best but i'm perfectly fine with them. Its not the most uniform screen either, you can see a very verys light lighting in the corners on a black or very very dark image. I've heard the speakers are crud but in mine they sound fine for a non subbed or surround system? Doesnt have 120hz or 240hz for that liquid smooth motion.
Other Thoughts: Btw in response to the other reveiwer, most movies are shot in 24FPS not 30. If they were 30 it would appear smooth as the machien can then do 2:2 pull down since its a 60hz tv. If you want fluid motion movies like the 120hz or 240hz tv's you'll have to go elsewhere, I enjoy the 24p mode the tv offers for blu rays though!
When newegg had this tv on sale for much lower than they do now (just a bit over 800) it was a STEAL not to get it. I'm so glad i did. I came from a sony WEGA CRT tube HD tv, so yes the black levels didn't match as much, but alot of the other problems the tube had are gone, no more fuzzy text, or fuzzy corners, or warping towards the edges of the screen. Its bright clear and vivid, and makes a GREAT gaming monitor! IF you need low lag with all those 120 and 240 hz tv's not cutting it for pc/mouse/buttno response lag for some games, this is probably your best bet!

Pros: 1080p, 47" huge screen, plenty of inputs, no dead pixels, and it came with a great swivel stand. I am using this as the monitor of my HTPC set-up. It is absolutely breath taking. The entire family loves watching movies on this set.
Cons: It is only 60Hz refresh, but most movies are shot at 30HZ, so it doesn't matter unless you watch extreme sports or play intense video games.
Other Thoughts: It has a strange bulge on the bottom right that glows when there is activity on the monitor: red when interference or no signal and blue when you have a picture or it is turning on. Not sure if this is a plus or minus for you, but I enjoy it.
