Pros: * Fast motion scenes w/lots of camera movement in HD look unreal, feels like I'm looking out a window! * Black-levels and colors are great * Can turn off power light etc, so that nothing on the bezel detracts from image on screen
Cons: * There was one large bright spot where the back-lighting is uneven, not a problem unless there are scenes in space or low light. This is worth removing 2 eggs alone because otherwise this TV is great. I am not too picky but I'm sure an anomaly like this will be a *big* deal breaker for some. Only noticeable when room is dark or back-lighting is turned up. * Last con is small: the remote just seems poorly planned, input button should be closer to center... There are 2 menu buttons that are a bit redundant, both bring up the quick menu, one just focuses it on a different option.
Other Thoughts: Overall this TV is a great value and the picture quality is amazing... To those who complain about colors etc, follow the calibration guide, it really is nice to have this built into the TV's firmware. If I had gotten this screen without the uneven back-lighting issue it would get 6 eggs!
Once quick note is that I got this at a heavy discount from the MSRP... I'd be returning it due to back-light issues if I paid MSRP.

Rating: 4/5BEST LED-LCD for Size and $$$
Pros: Great Clarity and LED Lit really brings out the HD Picture. Fairly easy picture controls and plenty of inputs. Well recommend for anyone who's lookin for a great Bedroom TV or Something not too big, but with lots of Quality!
Cons: Not going to blow your mind (unless you've never owned a HD LED-LCD). If you want something thats going to make you explode in your pants - I recommend the 8500 series from Samsung.
Other Thoughts: Got it for $699 with free ship and 6 months no Interest with Newegg Card - Awesome Deal! For the Price - The Best 37 LED out there!
My Other TV's -Samsung 46LE8500 (BEST PICTURE EVER!) -LG 42LE5400 (Also another winner by LG)

Rating: 5/5Great TV
Pros: I bought this TV for the 120Hz refresh rate, the 24P Real Cinema feature, the ability to play movies from a USB, and the LED backlighting (and resulting power savings). Love the TV so far! Video is clean, smooth and clear. TruMotion interpolates and adds extra frames, which really smooths out motion. It can be turned off if you don't like the resulting "Soap Opera Effect" that makes video look unnaturally smooth and clear when compared to original 24-frame per second movies. The 120Hz refresh and 24P Real Cinema appear to work nicely, though I have nothing to compare it to yet: I don't get any stuttering no matter what DVDs I play. All my anamorphic widescreen (1.78, 1.85, and 2.35) videos display nicely with the TV set to 16x9. Plays USB hard drive movies nicely. I've played .avi, .divx, .mkv, and .vob files. (Most of my movies appear to be encoded as MP4 or H.264). The remote is fine for me. USB videos can be resumed from where you last stop them. Sound is quite nice.
Cons: The LED backlighting is adjustable, either by choosing the AV Mode (Standard, Cinema, Sports, etc.) or by setting the power saving feature to "Auto". At full power, the LED backlight does cause some vignetting at the corners of the screen. (I see the same thing on my LED PC monitors). Some USB videos will get out of synce (video head of the sound). I can re-sync by pressing stop/start. Not sure if that's a problem with the USB drive, the video file, or the TV. Also, some videos will stop after about 20 minutes of play. They will resume from where they left off if I press play again. Again, not sure if that's a file problem or a TV problem. Does not play .wmv files. No network connectivity, but I plan to provide that through a blu-ray player (which can be more easily upgraded as network technology matures).
Other Thoughts: The TV is super thin. This is my first flatscreen, so I'm blown away by the clarity of whatever signal I feed it. If I do my part and feed it good source video with good equipment, the picture is amazing. The USB video problems very well might not be the TVs fault and I'm willing to live with the occasional hiccups for the privilege of watching my USB videos someplace other than my computer. TruMotion really helps compensate for USB videos that may have been encoded at a lower frame rate. NewEgg came through! $118 cheaper than any other place...ordered Wednesday night at 9pm, delivered Friday at 6pm. I learned a lot about this TV from reading the manuals online at LG. I now have the 178-page CD manual that goes into a lot more detail about what the TV can do. Anyone that would like a copy send me an email at rgknowlton at hotmail dot com.

Rating: 4/5Good, but not Fantastic
Pros: - Excellent against daylight reflections - Good picture - Thin profile
Cons: - Very poor "real life" viewing angle - No S-video whatsoever (if you still need it)
Other Thoughts: I bought this for our second viewing room, hoping that with LED technology, it would compare very favorably against our much older Samsung 46" LCD (LN46A550). Well, it is good, and may even be slightly better than the Samsung, but it certainly doesn't "blow it away". In fact, overall, I much prefer the Samsung.
Firstly, despite a claimed contrast ratio that is 100 times superior (3,000,000:1 vs. 30,000:1), the blacks do not seem much blacker. In fact, when viewing off angle by even 35° to either side, the entire screen (and especially blacks) takes on a blue/gray hue, like a thin veil over everything. This in particular is vastly inferior to the viewing angle on the Samsung.
Secondly, for watching HDTV, the older Samsung seems to have a cleaner picture for some reason, even when viewing from the same distance.
Had I paid more than the Newegg price, I would have been sorely disappointed.

Rating: 4/5Glad I bought it
Pros: Good picture in general; thin profile (if that's your thing); nice energy usage. The 120Hz really makes blu-ray movies look great!
Cons: When screen is solid black, slight unevenness in backlighting is noticeable. Very minor in my opinion. Had heard edge-lit LED backlighting can also cause unevenness for full white screens, but I do not see this.
Not an overwhelming amount of inputs (you only get one component and one composite, plus an additional of either through a special cable).
Other Thoughts: Got this at the $699, free shipping price point. I've seen better pictures on other TVs, but for this price, I'm very happy with what I received.
Also, if you don't care about a slim profile or energy efficiency, you may want to skip on the edge-lit LED backlit TVs...do your research on edge-lit LED vs. full-array LED vs. CFL.
