1 out of 5 eggsLG Products and Repair

Pros: LG service sucks! Refused to send repairman to my location for a 60" tv. Repairmand stated LG would not pay him for his mileage which was 2 hous away from me. This has happened to him on several times. A local repairman came over and called LG and LG refused to repair the product due to the fact the product was to new and parts were not yet available!

Cons: Extebded Warranty does not begin until original is completed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat TV!

Pros: Great picture for a 60 inch LCD tv! Lots of input ports for every device you can think of. Internet connection for Netcast / Netflix means I don't have to have a computer hooked up right next to the TV to watch my Netflix movies! Playstation 3 looks very nice, and the gaming doesn't lag or have any ill effects you might see on some other LCD tv's. Colors and blacks look very good, no dead pixels, lots of menu features to get your settings just right. Good hard copy manual and even better CD manual. Sound is what you would expect from a 60 inch LCD tv, good mid range sound, not very good bass or high highs.

Cons: Wireless "Ready" means you have to purchase another device to hook up into the TV to make it work. Lucky I had an ethernet port right behind my TV stand. TV does have a very small ammount of ghosting on some shows, specifically see it during Football / Basketball games. TV is fairly heavy, so making sure you have a good TV stand / entertainment center is important!

Other Thoughts: All in all, a great buy to upgrade from a 42 inch LG plasma. Not as crystal clear as the plasma, and does have a bit of the ghosting, so that's why it only received 4 eggs, but I would still recommend anyone who is looking for a larger TV to seriously consider this one as I am in love with it!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Amazing value for the discounted price
-Very high contrast ratio for dark blacks
-Fast response time makes gaming and movies run perfectly smooth

Cons: I consider this to be rather nitpicky but the remote control is a bit laggy at times and the menus, in my opinion, are poorly set up. Also, when pressing the power button on the remote, you don't get an immediate response from the tv whether it is turning on/off. If you're impatient, it's easy to turn the tv back on after you just turned it off.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have a long enough room for a tv this size. Sitting too close doesn't blur the image at all, however, the size of the screen makes it difficult to watch the entire screen from very close. Some might consider this common knowledge but I've seen many a big screen tv squeezed into a 7 foot long room.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Perfect in every way. Looks great, netcast is a great feature. Had to get the LG wireless adapter, which works perfectly. Make sure to buy one if you plan on using the wireless. Vudu is awesome. Can't say enough good things.

Cons: Wasn't free.

Other Thoughts: Great instruction manual, easy setup. Very cool.

5 out of 5 eggsVeterans Will LOVE this TV

Pros: Fantastic picture and color. A true 3D effect, one you can almost touch. I kid you not. The screen is 60" so its best to sit a few feet back when watching.

NETCAST, it takes your Internet cable or wireless and connects you to the web for Netflicks, Youtube, etc.

Also it has many features to adjust color, etc. On the HD channels, the picture is crisp and clear.

Cons: If you sit two 2 feet away from it, the picture doesn't look very good, it shouldn't anyway from two feet away.

Other Thoughts: I had to give this review because the fellow who thought all of us customers who gave it 5 stars were novices, well that is NOT true. I researched plenty and I wanted 60" 3D effect without the glasses (not true 3D, but seems extremely close). The TV picture is NOT LED, you have a screen that is good in a well lit room (no glaring problems from lights).

The picture should be viewed a few feet away and its best and its a great picture, its LCD, not LED, this unit is worth over $2000 easy and its sale price it terrific!

5 out of 5 eggsA Fantastic TV

-Beautiful, clear picture
-Great feature set
-Functional, well laid out remote
-Good sound from speakers
-Wired networking! Netflix performs better through the tv than the PS3!!

Cons: I was really hoping for a Pandora app. It's on the Bluray players, why not the TV? Not a con, just a gripe, but maybe with future firmware updates...?

Other Thoughts: 100% pleased with this purchase, no question. Just what I was looking for, great Newegg price, even the shipping (for such an enormous box) was fast and professionally done. I haven't tried the USB yet. If you don't like the "soap opera" look of the tru-motion 120hz, you can turn it off (I do) at the price of a little blurriness.

5 out of 5 eggsLike watching TV through a window

Pros: This TV is huge. It's sitting on a rather large, open wall in my living room that dwarfed a 47" LCD. The wall doesn't come close to doing that here. After the initial firmware updates (there were 2), setting everything else up took <10 minutes. I couldn't be any happier with the picture, it is very vivid and engulfing. I love being able to watch movies from my home server with just the TV. So yes, this is DLNA certified. The most recent firmware update added support for MLB.TV, which will come in very useful during the MLB season.

Cons: Haven't found any as of yet. Will update as needed.

Other Thoughts: If you're having doubts, like I did at first, don't worry too much. Even though this TV isn't 3D ready (good), it's still a topnotch product that you can't go wrong with.
