5 out of 5 eggsBUY IT!

Pros: Plays Call of Duty (MW3) without blur. Just put it in game mode. No skipped frames. Smooth. Really easy to setup. The price is amazing for what you get.

Cons: Does not have internet. Does not have 3d. But I knew that when i got it. I got it for $537.99 on sale. If it had internet and 3d I bet it would have been much much more, even on sale.

Other Thoughts: If you have any problems with the picture (it doesn't look amazing, or it's too dark) Just tweak the settings, it's not your t.v. also make sure you're in game mode when gaming, it does make a difference.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value!

Pros: Beautiful Picture, easy to use menu, sleek design. Im just completely satisfied with this Television, replaced a 42" Samsung HD projection and i would have to say that the LG picture is just as good or slightly better. I had no problems with the stand, it is on a swivel, which i like. But my stand was sturdy and it doesnt lean.

Cons: Only con i have was that my cable digital box was set to scan all formats so it would choose the best format for that channel. When i turned the channel the television would black out while it scanned all available 480 formats. (480p, 480i, 480p wide, 480i wide). I disabled 480i and 480i wide in the cable box and the problem went away.

Other Thoughts: I own Samsung and Sony LCD's and this LG is definitely in the same class. I have had bad experiences with Toshiba, RCA and Sanyo in the past. This LG is really a great buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV - Weird Default Settings

Pros: This TV is excellent quality for a good price. Once I changed some of the default picture settings, the picture quality was perfect.

Cons: The stand is somewhat unsteady and the TV tends to lean one way.

The default picture settings are terrible. The contrast is set so high that tv shows look like they are filmed by amateurs, washed out and not exposed properly. Changing the default contrast to a reasonable level fixed this quickly.

Also, when watching Netflix through my xbox, everything seemed to be sped up a little bit. I couldn't put my finger on what it was at first, but everything was a bit off. I found a setting for Tru Motion, turned it off, and suddenly there was no weird speed up on the footage.

Not sure why the manufactures like to overuse Contrast and Tru Motion, but personally it makes things look a little off.

Other Thoughts: I was able to sync the Microsoft Universal Remote with this TV. I watch a lot of Netflix through my Xbox and love only having to use one remote for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood TV

Pros: Good picture.
No performance issues.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Be careful with purchasing complex brackets, they may interfere with connecting the 90deg power cord. I bought the 42" Level-Mount (N82E16882877032) which worked good but had to adjust the bracket to connect the power cord.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW

Pros: I was very impressed with the picture and color of this lcd. It was a great deal on an even better product.

Cons: The stand is a little sketchy, but I plan on a wall mount in the near future.

5 out of 5 eggsBlown Away!

Pros: The picture is beautiful, and 1080p shows on-screen with very few (if any) lost pixels. I am using my Xbox 360 with HDMI and Gears of War 3 looks amazing.
There are so many options to change your picture to exactly what you want. You can go for power saving or full performance. Personally I didn't buy an $800 TV (much cheaper on sale ;) ) because I wanted to go green. I jacked up the settings, turned on Trumotion 120Hz and I could not be more satisfied. LG televisions are expensive, but for a reason.

Cons: I have to say price, because this was a very expensive TV. I got mine on sale for much cheaper, and if it's still on sale you need to buy it now. Not taking an egg off for that because I am so satisfied with the product.

Other Thoughts: Newegg's sales + LG's quality = 1 very satisfied customer.
