5 out of 5 eggsgreat gaming rig

Pros: Fast. Don't need to over clock to enjoy Skyrim, ME3, ETW/Shogun 2, etc in highest settings. All needed backup software is provided on CD, and booklet instructions and manuals.
Video card is great, graphics look awesome. 3d is good, most popular titles available via tridef.
SSD is fast! With lots of storage on the regular hd for movies and photos.
Bluray movies play well on included software/hardware

Overall very satisfied, should last a few years!

Cons: AMD 3d pain to get 3rd party software in order to play games in 3D. AMD website horrible support for this, all marketing for 3d and eyefinity but very hard to find actual guide on how to do it.
Also very limited in monitors that are compatible with this setup for 3d.

Fairly loud, not super annoying but you will definitely know its there. Heats up the office pretty quick!

Other Thoughts: Would go with an Intel setup in the future for the better 3d support and features. But for regular gaming, and eyefinity capable games, simplely amazing experience. Love it.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible picture on TV great on blu ray

Pros: Large screen TV with nice outer finish, wifi capabilities, and many apps, though the apps are slow. Picture looks really good when watching from a blu ray device.

Cons: Picture looks terrible during fast motion scenes. Lots of pixilation and basketball games are almost unbearable to watch. Of course tried adjusting settings, calibrating colors, replacing hdmi, adjusting AT&T Uverse settings, and anything else other things but nothing helped. I called Newegg care and was told I couldn't return it for a refund, even though I was within the return date. They said you need the original box, which by anyone that's seen it, is unbelievably large.

Other Thoughts: The customer care department said they will try to make an exception, but that I should call the manufacturer as it might be something wrong with the TV. LG does not offer replacements or refunds. I was sold on the TV by the reviews on the internet, has plenty of people that say 'best picture ever', but I can't imagine that they're seeing the same thing I am or else they've been watching a 1970s TV before this one. I will update if I get any type of resolution.

4 out of 5 eggsGood.

Pros: It's huge and the price was incredible. The passive 3d glasses are so much better than shutters, IMO. The colors and brightness are good. The sound isn't too bad. 65" is giant and the frame is nice looking. The special wii-like remote is pretty neat. All in all I really like this tv.

Cons: The sound isn't that bad, but when turned up loud the metal back on the panel vibrates. Not sure if this happens when mounted to a wall.

The base that came with it was damaged, but again, we're mounting this on the wall without using the base so we don't care.

There is a little light bleeding and inconsistencies with the back light on the sides, and more so on the top. If you're really picky it's an issue, but for the most part it's fine.

The screen is very glossy / reflective.

The apps are cute, some are nice, but a few are slow and really not useful (google maps apps is pretty much useless). Netflix, for example, works well.

Other Thoughts: All in all, it's an impressive set. For the price it was hard to beat.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: Great picture quality, passive 3D feature is great as well as the ability to up convert 2D to 3D. The TV also comes with 4 pairs of 3D glasses. Smart TV features work well wirelessly. The picture quality is so good it makes you feel like you are watching live TV. The picture is crystal clear from any angle. Last but not least is the great price I paid going through newegg.

Cons: Sound quality is no where near the picture quality. You will need a decent surround sound system. Only one audio output (digital optical).

Other Thoughts: In order for proper performance on the smart TV features you may need to get a network extender and/or a signal booster. I bought this TV as a replacement for a 65" rear projection which was a definite upgrade. With all the bells and whistles I recommend buying the extended 4 year warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST TV EVER

Pros: I went from a HD 65" DLP with the white dot problem to this TV. Wow - Wow - Wow. I can leave all the lights on and the blinds and curtains open in the living room and still a perfect picture. Could never do that with my DLP TV. The 3D is like being in the movie. The wireless works very well when streeming HD movies, I expected LAG but no LAG. I never knew HD could look so good.

Cons: I did not but this at Newegg. I got it local and paid more but got it quickly.

Other Thoughts: I use a Linksys E4200V2 router and MOTOROLA SB6121 SURFboard Cable Modem to connect the wireless TV. Got them both at Newegg :-). My old modem would always crash when downloading movies to the TV but not this one.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Picture but poor audio

Pros: Picture quality and passive 3D are awesome. DLNA support is good(mpeg, AVCHD). Havent played with online content much but its there and there is virtual keyboard on screen but they could have just allowed us to connect a physical keyboard to USB.

Cons: Audio is poor. At full volume the audio is not sufficient at 15 feet. Come-on they skimped on audio. Optical , LAN connections should be on side too. Some bleeding of light a the edges but fact that this is edge lit, i accept it. No Pandora. Optical audio pass-thro is stereo only.

Other Thoughts: Giving it 4 stars for because of Audio. but Audio on most of these big tv is poor 10W.
