LG 50" 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV 50PV400

Pros: Thin screen and casing, good picture, sound is pretty good.

Cons: Colors need to be adjusted out of box for more brightness.
Glossy screen reflects light from windows/lights more than flat finish.

Other Thoughts: My first plasma so we'll see how durable it is.
Great price for 50" screen with good picture.

Pros: Unbelievable picture quality. I may be up all night watching it. Sound quality is very good. 1080i and 720p both good.

Cons: Only a startup manual included. Detailed manual in the enclosed CD rom. Probably helps keep the cost down.

Pros: This is a great tv for the price.

Cons: Has a horrible glare from anything that gives light.

Pros: Great Picture, awesome size for the money. I also like the tv border is small and sleek making the screen look even bigger :). Easy TV setup and Custom Color correction was a snap. I think this years super bowl is at my house!

Cons: Stand construction was a pain, 2 of the screws took massive power and strength to screw in (im a big guy), yes I used the right screws, by the time they was completely tightend down the heads were 3/4 stripped screwing them in by hand. Even though it was a little frustrating and my hands was sore I didn't take off an egg because I plan to wall mount it soon.

Other Thoughts: As long as it last me 5+ years I would buy this again at the price I payed.

Pros: Thin, Great picture once you adjust picture settings, Sound is better than expected as well and couldnt beat it for the price!

Cons: Heavier than expected, comes set with average picture settings. Can produce a lot of glare if put in the wrong place

Other Thoughts: Search avforums for user supplied picture settings and you will be pleasantly surprised

Pros: You can view the tv from any angle and not lose any picture quality, like with lcds. Picture is great. Nice sharp images, colors are nice and vibrant. Hooked up my ps3 via hdmi, Modern warfare 3 looks great. Love how it has 2 component slots instead of just one like most tvs and 3 hdmi spots.

Cons: Haven't found any yet.

Other Thoughts: This tv is just awesome. It's nice and slim, haven't noticed any issues. Picks up a lot of digital channels, though I will be using an hd cable box soon. Looks great when using my ps3. I'm really glad I went with this tv cause compared to other plasmas this size it was nice and cheap and looks great just like the others.

Pros: Got here in great shape and the picture is phenomenal. I just turned it on and played a Netflix HD movie off of my PS3 with gold tipped HDMI cables and it is the best picture I've ever seen. (Watched Iron Man II and the first two minutes of the show didn't hurt the picture review :) )

Cons: None, but if they could make a 5 pound 50" plasma that would be cool.

Other Thoughts: CEVA does a great job shipping but you have to set up an appointment for delivery. Make sure your contact info is updated and if you work like I do you may need a house sitter. Still is better than the FedEx guy throw it over the fence.

Other Thoughts: I own 2 Panasonic plasmas. Picture of the Lg is equal. Black level is fine

Other Thoughts: Plasma is still the best format for TV. Just like Beta was a better format than VHS, but the cheaper version won out, and with Vizio flooding the market with cheapness, it only makes it better for Plasma consumers!

Pros: Going from a 8 year old 42" LCD to this plasma is just mind blowing. Constantly mind blowing. I've only had it for three days now, but I've honestly barely spent any time doing anything else BUT watch it. It's so much easier to use than my old TV, so much bigger, so insanely brighter yet darker at the same time. I just can't believe the contrast.

Cons: I ordered this TV three weeks ago but it showed up shattered. I called Newegg and they refunded me and told me the TV was now UPS's problem. UPS picked it up a couple days later, the TV was already reordered before the broken TV was even out of my house. The next TV showed up a week later. Not so much of a con really, it was UPS's fault.

Other Thoughts: I've read that you need to "break in" the TV, so I've been playing the Winamp visualization on my computer during the day. I'm so amazed at the picture quality of the picture quality that I can just sit on the couch and watch it while jamming out to music for hours. I can't believe what I've been missing these past few years.
