LG 50" 1080p 600Hz Plasma HDTV 50PM9700

Pros: -Massive Size!
-Lots of Extras
-Intuitive & Attractive Menus

Cons: -Picture quality is very poor on basic cable channels.
-Picture only looks good on HD channels. My old CRT from the 90's has better picture quality with my basic cable channels.
-Picture Wizard is Misleading; Channels don't appear as high quality as the test screens do.
-Pixels appear very large compared to old CRT Tvs.
-Motion blurs

Other Thoughts: I went through all of the manuals, picture wizard, setups for both TV settings and cable DVR settings, and still get ugly picture quality on my basic cable. I'm using the HDMI cable connection with the correct input selection. I was full of anticipation when I ordered this TV but now I honestly think this is the lowest picture quality of any TV I've ever owned. I'm not sure if the TV is incapable of running at least good quality picture from basic cable or if I need a professional to come in and set things up. If it is possible to get this TV to produce good quality (at least as good as my old CRT), then the setup is too complicated. I'm an above average tech savvy guy, but this is ridiculous.
