LG 47" 1080p 120Hz Cinema 3D LED TV 47LM4600

Pros: TV has a great picture, 3D, price, everything!

Cons: haven't had any trouble with this set at all

Other Thoughts: as other have noted when you first unbox it the power saving settings are set to high, so if you just turn that down it instantly gets much better.
Also, when you want to use 3D content, you have to put the TV in 3D mode manually, not a big deal though, just one button

Pros: Affordable, nice picture and menu system.

Cons: not a smart TV, no wifi

Other Thoughts: I am using this TV for bedroom, so it's not my main TV. I don't have high expectation for it, but it delivered a nice picutre and sound. I can't ask for anything more.

Pros: Bang for the buck, 3D, excellent contrast and color...is probably the most accurate I have ever owned in color tone...not too colourful, and yet, not too desaturated. Makes games look real and not cartoony, where on most other displays I have to tone down the colour/ saturation. Amazing audio considering they are onboard speakers. My LCD TV had much more space for speakers, and yet, sounded more tinny than these speakers.

Cons: The viewing angle isn't quite as brilliant as I might prefer. I have PC monitors better at this that are, both, of cheaper contstruction, and LED. If I lay on the sofa, the picture becomes more dim than when sitting up...the same goes while viewing the TV at, roughly, 40 degrees. It's not tremendously dark by any means, but enough to loose that "pop" in contrast and becomes more onpar to my older, 2008 era, 1080p, LCD LG...which, wasn't a horrible TV...but I cannot complain at the price-point of 549.00.

Other Thoughts: Large, brilliant and beautiful...and most importantly, affordable! Perfect for games. My only dismay, is once you stray from 40 inches, at 1080p the lines of resolution become more apparent.

Pros: Like the way you can turn any show into some what 3D. Very good sound and tons of picture adjustments.

Cons: Bad blacks, Bad angles - you have to sit right in front of it or the screen turns to a blue tint. Cheap knock off glasses. You do not get the ones as pictured. When watching a 2D to 3D, don't be fooled by the pictures were you see the picture coming out at you. It actually goes into the back of the tv.
TruMotion 120Hz technology, Right. There is blur. Most of what they wrote on here about this tv is a lie.

Other Thoughts: But at $549 and no tax and free shipping. It was worth it.

Pros: No bells and whistles, just a perfect picture!! Price was perfect!

Cons: Power cord was way to short to reach floor from wall installation.

Pros: biggest pro is the price duh! it talks with other lg smart link stuff. Menus and remote are easy to navigate and set up. good size and good 2d picture.

Cons: not really 120hz.. its 60 hz with led backlight strobing so dont think your getting real 120
the stand is cheep but who doesnt put a tv this big on a vesa
the sound is not great you going to need a bar or external system
the lg sound bar integrates nicely
3d has a sweet spot about 12 feet away... too close and you se the jaggies and too far and you loose the depth

Other Thoughts: i would buy it again at this price... its not a gem but lots of value per dollar

Pros: Good color, moderately low input lag, good inputs, decent sound.

I would estimate input lag to be around 35ms which is good for most games. I play street fighter on this TV and it doesn't bother me.

Warranty service is very good

Cons: Poor black levels at times.

Other Thoughts: Mine came with a defective panel that LG replaced TWICE. Their repair service was very good and they came right out to the house to repair the panel.

Pros: Thin, light, 3D. Great picture for budget TV. DLNA support (WORKS GREAT streaming from my home server!).

Cost was about half what my son paid for his Samsung 47" 3D TV although his is smart... I can not see any difference in picture quality.

Cons: Does not support LG's remote app for android or ios.


Not really a con but this TV is not a smart TV. (would not really expect that feature at this price).

Other Thoughts: IF you have, or plan to purchase a smart Blu-Ray player and or AV receiver this TV is a great choice for a 47" model. I originally purchased this with no thought of ever using the 3D, but found a 3d Blu-Ray under $100.00 and decided to give it ago. I was amazed by how good this looked in 3D and have started to build a 3D Blu-Ray library.
