Pros: I've been looking for a replacement HDTV for a while and had specifics in mind when looking around. Samsung was the first I found with everything I wanted, but it was still pretty pricey. When I found this TV, the only noticeable differences were negligible aside from the price, this one is $500 less than the Samsung equivalent. The picture is amazing if the source content is good. The sound that comes out of this TV is much more impressive than I was expecting. The magic remote is like a presentation mouse. It moves around the screen as you move your remote. There are lots of options that allow you to tweak your picture and sound among other things.
The 3D is really good. This is a passive 3D TV, which works just like movie theater 3D, in fact, the movie theater 3D glasses work fine with this TV as well. Replacement glasses are super cheap for a set of 4. I got a box of 4 for $12. If you are going to play any type of multiplayer gaming on this TV that requires split screen, whether its top and bottom or left and right, this TV also has a feature called Dual Play which utilizes the 3D technology to combine each side overlapping each other full screen. Each player puts on the appropriately marked "left player" or "right player" glasses and the glasses filter out the other player so that you only see your screen on the entire TV and the other player sees their screen also on the entire TV.
This is an amazing TV, every time I watch it, I'm glad I got it. It has everything I wanted.

Cons: One con I can think of with may not be an issue with everyone, and can be remedied depending on your setup. I have an older receiver for my surround sound that does not have HDMI inputs or outputs. It does have an optical input, which used to only be connected to the PlayStation, so games and movies would have surround sound, but any other inputs to the TV that did not have any outputs that I could send to the receiver only outputted through the TV's stereo speakers. This TV has an optical output, which is a pro, but its also a con since the output is not 5.1, it is only stereo sent to the receiver. But that does allow me to listen to TV, chromecast and older consoles through the surround sound speakers that would have only been through the TV before.
The only other con is that the 3D only works if you are sitting up and directly facing the TV. Even then, the top and bottom edges of the TV seem to show as if you aren't wearing the glasses, the 3D doesn't work as well. I can understand the left and right sides not working because of the two images overlapped on the screen, one would be off the screen and would be missing to give you the 3D effect, but the top and bottom should work right. It is not much, but it can be noticeable at times, although it doesn't take away from the experience.
