Pros: the picture is excellent.

Cons: the bad thing is the tv stand. the legs are very wide (50") and at an angle that makes it difficult to fit on many (most) tv stands. the feet are held by very weak, "chincy" screws. They are small and flat, and worse, soft. Even being very gentle, the screws are shallow and will inevitably strip. I had great difficulty removing the screws and the feet in order to mount on the wall.

Other Thoughts: Newegg would accept a return but not a replacement. The reason given was "that they were out of stock," but this doesn't appear as the full reason, as I could purchase the same tv from their site.

Hopefully LG will send some better screws for the stand. TBD

Pros: None...

Cons: Came broken. Screen had pixel lines all over like a world map. Returned it for a replacement but they refunded me and took 20 bucks for shipping. Had to call to ask if why I wasn't getting a replacement and they said sorry, out of stock. Had to ask for my 20 bucks back... so basically... wasted all my time and effort just to pay them 20 bucks and ask for it back with no tv in hand. Time is money, and newegg wasted tons of it.

Pros: Big. nice, bright

Cons: Speaker not very loud, but have surround sound for that

Other Thoughts: If you can get it for ~400 bucks it's worth

Pros: This TV has great picture quality. Thin design which makes it perfect for mounting. Price is great for this size (49in).

Cons: No Headphone jack or Audio out. just Digital audio out. If it had this I'd give it 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: Since it has only 2 HDMI jacks I recommend buying an HDMI selector which can turn one jack into 3 or more.
