5 out of 5 eggsServing me well

Pros: I have been using this as a monitor for my computer. 4 years it has been, still functioning well. Not let-ups or any hint of soon-to-come failures. This is still running as well as the first day. I am a very happy owner of this.

Cons: Bottom of screen isn't stable if you move the desk it is on. But that isn't a problem really. There are 2 to 4 dead pixels that developed within first 3 months. Fortunately not anything more since then!

Other Thoughts: Not a tech savvy here, but I am just downright glad I have purchased this. At this rate, this will likely last at least another two solid A+ years on me!

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from Refurb

Pros: Cheap

Cons: We bought a few refurbished monitors for work, we used them as TVs. We bought 9 and to date, 4 have stopped working. We RMAed a few back to Newegg in time and sent the others back to Olevia. Even some of the products Olevia sent back have already stopped working.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't need standard cable port

Pros: This is in response to the reviewer below me, you don't need a standard cable port. You can just buy a coaxal to S-video converter. Coaxal is the type of cable that is a standard cable. You could also get a coaxal to VGA converter.

Cons: I haven't actually bought this tv yet.

3 out of 5 eggsCan't Connect Coax

Pros: Good Price, Lots of "Other" Connections

Cons: I did not realize this TV did not have a standard cable connection. So Now I have to get a cable box to run the TV. I Never Saw a TV Without a cable connection. I have to call Olevia to see what the Channel up and down are for.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had Noticed the Lack of a CABLE CONNECTION for a TV

5 out of 5 eggsQuestion

Pros: Hi, I want to Know if this tv has a RF Terminal and if your supported resolution is only NTSC (in USA) or if accepts PAL-M too, because I will use it in Brazil. Can I use this tv in Brazil or only in USA? I wait for your answer, thank you!

4 out of 5 eggsNice TV

Pros: Good picture, Xbox 360 looks fantastic. Great value - a 23inch TV for the price of a 15 inch.

Cons: Cheap stand, but we have it wall mounted. Sound not great, but tolerable, not as bad as some other reviewers made it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my 18 yr old son. He is a rough customer and said he "loves it". He rarely says that about anything.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: This TV rocks. No dead pixels. Sound isn't fantastic, but it's not bad either, and you get used to it. I think I was used to surround when I still lived with my ex. Anyway, I'm planning on getting a surround sound system anyway, so this is a sweet TV all the same.

Cons: You will need at the very minimum the red, white and yellow AV cables to connect anything to it. Also need an HDMI cable to connect to HD DVR/Cable box. Keep this in mind. This TV comes with ONLY the AC cord, and does NOT have a coaxial connection at all. The other option is to run the coax into a VCR or DVD player, and then run the AV cables to the TV. Either way, it'll work. Not really a con, but something to keep in mind. I have my DVR, and old VCR, and my PS2 connected to it and to accomplish this bought an HDMI and an AV cable like the one described above. Easy to connect stuff to though.

Other Thoughts: Best TV I could imagine for this price. Oh, HD looks absolutely AWESOME on this TV. Regular channels are okay, but if you've seen non-HD television/DVDs on an LCD HD TV, you know what it looks like. Glad there are so many channels in HD now through cable. This is my "interim" TV until I can afford a 50+" TV, but this one will definitely go in my bedroom at that point.

4 out of 5 eggsBest Product for the Price

Pros: Great looking picture. Has multiple inputs.

Cons: Speakers sound like they are wrapped in Tin. There are two small 10 watt speakers.

Other Thoughts: As advertised, HDTV ready/monitor. I have to have a set top box anyway, so was specifically looking for something without a tuner. To compare; this 23 inch monitor is the same cost as a 19 inch with an analog tuner. I would rather have the larger size. If you don't need a full blown surround sound, I recommend stoping at your local electronics store and pick up some small 15-20 watt speakers for $25-$45. I found a nice little set with a small sub woofer for $24.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Monitor

Pros: My Wii, Xbox, PS2 and Dreamcast all look great on my set. I'm waiting for my pc to arrive so that I can test that out, but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Cons: You can't have composite cables inserted at the same time as S-Video cables unless you're going to route your sound directly to a set of speakers. I knew this before I bought it, but it would be nice if more audio inputs were added on future revisions. Also, the description says upgradeable by usb and it was right, but it doesn't accept the regular box type usb input. I currently have no way to upgrade my firmware, I just assumed that the outdated picture didn't show a usb input.

Other Thoughts: I wish I had the proper usb equipment to update my tv. Other than that I'm highly satisfied.
